You can fly straight up for 8s if you want. That'll get you quite a lot higher than Horizon Q. Not sure why you'd spend that time tho.

I don't work on map rotation, but as far as I remember it's Olympus/WE in pub rotation, with I think the usual Olympus only time for when a map receives changes (whenever we do a map update, we make that map exclusive in pub rotation for a week or so)

We (mod team) are pretty strict on allowing spoilers to respect the wishes of both the community that doesn't want to see them, and the team at Respawn. Apart from the stuff here, we aren't exactly sure what is allowed to be said and what was leaked under NDA (e.g., the incident with a streamer this week, which you undoubtedly know about).

This Bangalore rumor came from Twitter, and I was quite confused at to the motivation behind that - but I'm glad it's false.

Yeah unless it comes from a reputable news source or directly from one of us, I'd assume it's sus.

He is still absolutely one of the strongest characters in low level pubs. The less people know how to play around the gas, the stronger he is. At the highest level we have good data for last I checked he dropped from literally third place to.. 6th? 7th? Something like that. Still above average. He's fine.

Everyone gets passive and at least 1 use of their tactical to start with. For Crypto, 1 tactical charge = 1 Hack life. You can deploy/recall your drone as much as you want but if it get's destroyed, you'll need a second charge to deploy again.

Passives are all free. We did playtest a version where some Legends had to buy their passive but ultimately went with everyone gets it for free. Also, everyone starts with at least 1 use of their tactical

But here's the thing: it turns out the Caustic nerf was fine. He's still performing solidly, still getting picked in the ALGS. It knocked a frustrating, overperforming character down to a healthy level where he's still usable and powerful in the right circumstances. We would not have gotten there had we taken small steps and found 2 or 3 times that we didn't nerf him enough. It's always best in game design to take big swings and adjust back down.

Personally I think removing strafe in the gravity lift, increasing the volume slightly, and maybe even going as far as removing the ability to heal while using the lift is in order. Maybe a phased approach would be best in that oder to monitor impact of each change to see if the next is necessary.

I don't know that I ever mathed that out. For design like this, precise numbers are less important than playtest to playtest feedback. It sure feels like it takes a good long while, but of course you can start flying again before your fuel is completely full.

25 for the first rocket, 3 for every additional rocket (or 2 if you're Fortified). Don't quote me on exact numbers, but the TLDR is it doesn't really matter if you hit them with one rocket or four, you'll roughly do the same damage.
