I know everybody says that, but I also know false bans happen all the time. What's he supposed to do about it? Has this been happening as a result of the cross-progression implementation issues?

Edit: Should also mention he spent money on that account. Feels a lot like EA just stole from him. Any answers?

Accounts were not banned because of Cross Progression. Sounds like he may have already done so, but logging a support request is the correct path to have this looked into.

This sounds like two separate accounts that are not linked. Please start a thread on ~Answers HQ~ detailing your situation along with your support ticket # so that this can be looked into further.

As someone who still doesn't have cross progression I assume for an edge case issue, please. Talked with two EA Help reps and one said cross progression doesn't exist (lie) and the other said it was "server issues" and I would get my content "once the server updates it". That was December 4th and still nothing so please, I would like to know if it can be resolved or not.

The easiest way to confirm whether you have received Cross Progression or not is to try logging in on a different platform with your EA ID. If you still believe you haven’t received Cross Progression after doing this, please start a thread on ~Answers HQ~ detailing your situation so that support can investigate.

I probably don’t have too many unlocks on that EA account. When I built my pc, I created a new EA account and connected steam to that account. I do not have a PlayStation account connected to my newer EA account and I still have access to the old EA login. What would happen if I go into my old EA, unlink my PlayStation account, and then link it into my new EA account that is also connected to steam? It’s probably not worth it because I don’t want to lose anything on my current account, but to have a couple of the early skins/camos I unlocked would be nice. Thoughts?

Unlinking the PlayStation account will remove access to any of the progress/content acquired on that account. You would, however, then be able to play on your PlayStation with your cross-progressed PC/Steam account. As you call out, you have two separate accounts here and the merging of multiple EA accounts was outside of the scope of Cross Progression.

Dive Trails earned in Seasons 1 and 2 are permanent. Your Cross Progressed account will have them.

Now that we have cross-platform enabled and can play on any platform while sharing progress but does it mean we can buy cosmetics or redeem codes on any platform or is purchasing locked to the primary account only?

All content purchased/unlocked on any of the platforms linked is available on the other platforms (apart from platform exclusive content). If you purchase new content on one platform it’s associated with your Cross Progressed account, and when you take that account to another platform it will be there.

The main caveat here is that Apex Coins purchased on the Nintendo Switch is stored in its own separate wallet and is not shared with the other platforms. That said, content purchased with these coins on Switch is still your content to take and play on other platforms.

Does this mean that if you now decide to link a platform account (a new one without any progress) to an EA account, that this account will receive the progress of the merged accounts... or will this platform account have it's own separate progress?

Once you link the new platform to the EA ID that is cross-progressed, this platform will then have access to the progress and content of the cross-progressed account. Worth noting and stressing that any content on this new platform getting linked in will be lost.

If the account is “a new one” then there's likely nothing to be lost, but if you link in a platform that does have content and/or progress associated with it (because it’s already linked to another EA ID), this WILL be lost in favor of the cross-progressed account’s stats and content. This goes back to the “Unlinking can disassociate progress and content” aspect called out previously.

We discussed missing badges in the above post. As for “other things,” please start a thread on ~Answers HQ~ with more details so that the support team can investigate further.

How do I link my xbox account and steam account for cross progression?

I've played the game a bit on steam. I reinstalled as I heard there was cross progression but i'm still on my level 5 account. How can I login to my main apex legends account on my steam account?

To access your Xbox progress on Steam, you need to make sure that your Xbox and Steam accounts are linked to the same EA account. First, you’ll want to find out which EA account your Xbox account is linked to. From there, make sure your Steam account is linked to the same EA account. You can manage your account connections ~here~. Once you have linked your Steam account to the same EA ID, you will then be able to access your content from Steam. It’s important that you do not unlink your Xbox account from the EA ID that it is currently linked to since the progress will not move between EA IDs

None of the badges earned on PC got merged over. Lost 20/4ks/triple triples on 2 Legends. Why didn't they include these in the cross progression?

Some badges were not be included as part of the merge process as outlined in our blog in late October ahead of the rollout. That said, as mentioned in the post above, we're aware of some badges missing and are working on their return but a list of applicable badges is not yet available.

Where can we go to get cross progression if the screen popped up, but the server timed out during linking? Haven’t been able to find anything or have the screen pop up again. I know this happened to 2 of my buddies as well. Appreciate the help.

If the Cross Progression merge failed for any reason (ex. it is possible the service may have been busy at the time), then the accounts are not merged and are not Cross Progressed. Logging in at a later time will trigger the merge process again, so by now it’s assumed that this has already been resolved with another login. If you still believe you have not received Cross Progression, please start a thread on ~Answers HQ~ with details so that support can investigate.

I lost heirloom shards, skins, camos. I had 100s of hours with of stuff and I need help getting them back

Amazon Prime skins are not treated differently than other content. Please create a support ticket on ~EA Help~ and the support team will investigate.

I'm wondering if the amount of boxes away I am on both Xbox/Playstation will combine and I will therefore be closer to having heirloom shards drop considering they're supposed to drop every 500 boxes you open roughly.

Heirloom shard drop counts don’t stack/merge. The number associated with the primary account becomes your count going forward.

The ability to have multiple PlayStation accounts linked to one EA account was possible at one point in time., but that's no longer the case. That said, some legacy accounts that went through the Cross Progression merge process did merge content from multiple PSN accounts together.

From these two PSN accounts, whichever of your accounts was the highest became your primary account. Any content associated with the lower leveled PSN account would've been merged into the primary account so long as it was still linked at the time you received Cross Progression. If you believe you are missing content (outside of what has already been outlined as out of scope) please start a thread on ...

Yes; Ranked is outside of the scope of Cross Progression as each platform has its own Ranked experience/leaderboard.

When you play Ranked with a Cross Progression enabled account (which is all accounts going forward) you will earn RP on the platform you are playing on. If you then use the same cross-progressed account on another platform in ranked matches you will earn RP on that platform’s leaderboard. There are no plans to extend Cross Progression to ranked (one master platform-all leaderboard).
