Since the Homestead update the servers are using additional memory, perhaps more than we'd like them to be using which we are aware of and working on addressing. However, the crash you are seeing isn't a memory crash at least not directly anyway nor is it actually a "leak". If you have the option to in your config settings, you can try running your server with -NoHangDetection and see if that prevents it from hanging and eventually closing the server process after ~15 minutes from the hang detection.
We havent unlocked tek yet and i dont own extinction, ao those arent really a solution for us. Need to find something easier to get rid of them than death by sword
cheat giveitem "Blueprint'/Game/Extinction/CoreBlueprints/Weapons/PrimalItem_WeaponEmptyCryopod.PrimalItem_WeaponEmptyCryopod'" 1 0 0

I believe this one was just a small back end fix. Nothing that should affect anything noticeable.
It'll be fixed.
I also cannot speak to the perf different between dedi and non-dedi but if you only noticed the issues when you got to hundreds of tames you can mitigate that by putting those tames in cryofridges. That'd definitely help your server run smoother.
Personally, I prefer hosting the server in a dedicated mode as it is easier for friends to join when I'm not around.
In my completely unbiased
Unfortunately, I don't know the file/save sizes on PS4 as most of my work is done on PC. =\
This was happening on Xbox way back when the game “ launched” out of beta. Supposedly this was fixed a few months later but this was related to the custom recipe disaster that allowed you to craft turrets for berries and the like. For all we know some folks have found a way to gain admin on the official clusters again and are keeping it on the down low. f**king nuts if true. I wouldn’t mind a full wipe tbh if true.

I can confirm that is not true. If someone was doing that it'd immediately set off some red flags I set up.
We're aware of this - working on it.
I think Wildcard has some people doing the wiki edits for them -- I'm not sure exactly who. I think I remember hearing something about their reddit moderators working on that too, but I couldn't swear to it.
I know that some of the server command pages could only be updated by employees, because some of those commands have never been discussed publicly.
Or we just told them about the commands so they could be updated.
But... But...manticore clearly has a spine... :|
It flies away enough that it is clearly a spineless coward.
They respawn if we detect that they're stuck to try and resolve the straggler issue - looks like it could be a false positive.
This would have made for a great "To Be Continued..." meme. Lol.
Amazing work as always! Those Gasbags are too cute.
Yeah I'm aware of the new config option which is neat! Last I heard about it was that it was still wonky though in terms of like saddles, weapons, etc so I haven't bothered with it yet. Next time I wipe my server I'll probably try it out.
Well for items like that it may not be set up to function at all since saddles & weapons have instanced based stats. Stacking would effectively be a method of duping strong equipment.
Just wanted to drop a line here and say we have seen the polls and the petitions particular from Kishko, just so you guys don't feel ignored or like your efforts are not being acknowledged. Duos is something that's on the radar as we've seen the interest from our players but it's not in the immediate cards for us right now. We may look at it when we're ready to work on a new mode. But I certainly appreciate the enthusiasm!
Full S+. The nanny/gardener/etc plus the demo and transfer guns are amazing to have and I never want to go back to vanilla. Also stacking mods that don't mess with weight. Everything else I can deal without, but I do love the mods that just add stuff to build with.
If you aren't messing with weight, there isn't any need to even use a stack mod anymore. We've added a config to adjust stack size. This will help avoid any behavioral issues that tend to come with stack mods. :)
This is awesome!
Thats content. Bugs will get fixed, and they recently removed the gates to the cave in the desert. /u/WC_ChrisW
This is correct - there's a difference between bug fixes and new content for it.
