Ah, didn't know that. Unfortunately Mac is not officially supported and we hence cannot provide support for it, maybe you find someone in the community that can help.

Please make sure you installed the latest VC++ Redistributables from 2015 - 2019. You can find a download of them on this page (x64): https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads-2647da03-1eea-4433-9aff-95f26a218cc0

Our focus is solely on PC for now, maybe after Early Access.

Yes, White-Tiger exists only based on this premise and is even an official server. But you get the same on many community-run servers, especially the bigger ones.

World Layers generally only update all 10 minutes, so it can take up to 10 minutes, depending when the last tick was.

Every electrical device works like a ZigBee network, extending the range. The transmission pole does it over a larger range without consuming power itself.

Eco does not officially support Mac or Linux. Available versions are early development versions provided without warranty to people owning Eco and not part of any purchase.

We're solely focusing on getting Eco out of Early Access on PC for now, we might consider consoles after that.

Boreal Forest is another word for "Taiga" which is a bit of a very cold biome you can find copper. You might get less when the other Ice Biomes did not generate, though.

No, it doesn't turn into dirt yet, but that would be cool.
You can just bury it for now if you dont make it into fertilizer.

And keep in mind this particular file is dangerous to play with, as it contains constants about integral gameplay values for pollution, biomes and layers. Doing something wrong can lead to a non-recoverable instant-death of your world.

It does work, actually. Unfortunately my history had hundred-thousands of occurances, so it took a whopping 30 minutes with a 5950X to open it and it failed opening it via Chrome. The other option was definately the easier one :D
