Yes, /fin passes elections. It can also be done more fine-grained with commands.

Sole focus will be on finishing EA on PC, might look into it after that.
Cutting Edge Cooking is indeed not yet implemented.
You can put the discord server into your Network.config and it will be shown as part of the tutorial and in the description overview of the server in the serverlist, but the other two things are not possible without a mod.
No, and it's likely we wouldn't allow them to be hosted on our official modding pages either. We do love the work the modders do every day for our game out there and as in most games they are a major part of the games success, but we'd hate to see Eco being made into Rust via mods. I can only ask for understanding that we see Eco as a peaceful game in the sense of no violence - there still is enough PvP possibility there and trust me when I say it's used - I administrate the official servers, lol.
Not official, but recommended mod from u/M0nzUn

Not yet. It is supposed to be in the works but there is not currently a way to move water outside of using pumps & pipes, but those aren't permanent water.
Water physics are planned, but a way to manually transfer water to my knowledge is not. None of both are currently worked on, as those are low priority things.
You can mod every single recipe to do that, but there is no general option to do so. You can only reduce the cost for all recipes, but that doesn't include static recipes with yellow borders, so isn't of too much help for the mining industry for ores either. The latter will be changed in the future, though.
It's a seperate program that opens on your PC, you need to tab out of the game and look in your tray or task bar. (Only works on windows as well and only if the server is hosted locally)
Cloud Worlds are only available for Developer Tier users, as they are in beta. They are made with classroom usage in mind - that applies to performance and capabilitites. You cannot change world size on them nor mod them, for example.
I have asked the web team to prepare a FAQ about this for the website, given many people lately asked. The page actually was meant to be part of the educational page, but this seems to have been misunderstood.
Can we not turn off the code allowed within signs? I thought that was a server setting.
Not that I know of.
We'll take care of that. Thanks!
You can automatically unpause a server when a player joins, but you cannot yet automatically pause it when the last player left - so you'd need to do that manually. Otherwise, it is not possible.
No, it comes back on its own as soon as activity has become less.
You misspelled Pineapple Friend Rice ;-)
Indeed.
I don't have video given the time it takes until such stuff happens, but there is screenshots from last Sea Otter run that drowned to death:

Is there enough of what Alligators eat where they are?
Unfortunately Eco currently does not officially support Mac nor Linux, hence the only thing I can offer you is creating a bug report on our tracker that would be looked upon by devs when they get free resources to do so: https://github.com/StrangeLoopGames/EcoIssues/issues
Animal Husbandry is a planned feature :)

Also, others can also use your currency - so it might be a different player using your currency.
