That is a code, not a config file. You may want to ask in the modding channel on our discord.

The outpost table is a not currently implemented feature, the respective object can't be achieved through normal gameplay methods.

Have you configured WorldWidth and WorldLength in WorldGenerator.eco and removed the Game.eco and Game.db in the storage folder afterwards before booting the server?

It's also possible the game server provider you are with doesn't allow maps bigger than a specific threshold, especially as 4km² maps are not supported by us. The maximum supported map size is 2.56 km².

See my explanation here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/382310/discussions/0/4434443557915421326/#c4434443557916271250

Even if you set the XP refund rate to 100%, it's not giving you a star back to take, but just XP towards the next one which is always "pricier" than the one refunded.

What is the exact error you are receiving? If it's you being put into offline mode, please refer to https://steamcommunity.com/app/382310/discussions/4/4701287772393189498/. Also note that there may be issues due to internet censorship, depending on where you live. ... Read more

No, skill refunding doesn't exist since the skill system was reworked. The button you noticed is "Abandon Specialty" which is for use in conjunction with maximum profession limits that were introduced at the same time.

Refunds can only be achieved by usage of admin commands or with for example Nid's PlayerManager mod.

The older tutorial worked the same - it also disabled specific UI parts until it became relevant or the respective tutorial task started, that's not any different. What we changed is making it more smooth and encompassing more information guiding through the whole start of the game. You can skip them by hovering over and clicking the close button, where you can also decide to skip all of them - just like before.

Adobe was introduced as an easy way to get a first base up, addressing a common issue with the game, only afterwards you're transitioning towards better room tier materials with everything basic already going.

The skill menu appears once you finished the respective tutorial step, you can also skip it if you want immediate access.

That is still not reproducible for us, pots do halt decay even when running the game for a few hours or using fast forward to simulate a whole 30 day cycle:

Chest: https://ibb.co/NT8jdY2
Pot: https://ibb.co/0V0xfjd

I guess there is something very conditional going on that makes this happen for you, unfortunately until there is reliable reproduction steps there is little chance for us to catch that.

Issues always need to be reproduced in our development environment, as such that unfortunately isn't possible - the only thing helping is reporting the issues on the tracker and being available there for developers for additional data requests.

They will become garbage in a future update, for now they can still be used in crafting recipes as per usual.

The cotton plant is already fixed for the next hotfix, the other issue so far hasn't been reproducible. Is there anything you can do to make it trigger for sure?

No Mods, just some config changes to speed up growth and increase the stack size.

We found the issue appears if you have multiple identical tools in a storage and use the consolidate button, as workaround don't use that button in such cases until it's fixed.

Any mods?

There has been three reports about this total so far, and one of them mentioned that it's not actually spoilage, but that all tools share the same durability, e.g. when a tool gets used, the other seem to be "spoiling" - is that something you see as well? (The user noted it only happens for tools crafted in batches, like 4+ - not when singularily crafted)

The amount of reports for this is very limited and official servers don't seem to be affected, but there could just be a condition (like the batch crafting) not fulfilled, hence my questions.

When you create a new random world through the game, it is actually supposed to overwrite WorldGenerator.eco settings based on its template - so either that is not working correctly or there is something else going on. We'll be monitoring reports, so far I only saw two.

You seem to be assuming that a lead position makes calls on their own, while that is not true. Decisions are primarily made based on the design goals, influenced by player feedback, in a team consensus. In the rare cases that is not possible, the call is made by the founders based on their vision representing the game idea.

Eco is being worked on since about ten years, staff changes are absolutely natural in such a long timeframe. The sentiment of some of our staff being "replacement people brought in" is simply disrespectful to me and all of my colleagues - especially given positions becoming vacant naturally get filled by people that have worked in the company before, most often for many years.

I, for example, started here as QA about 7 years ago as a part-time side-job next to my main job because I was asked to and liked the game as a player. Over time I became Community Manager and transitioned here as my main job, switched to Associate Producer years ago an... Read more

It's most common in tundra. To be sure, delete the WorldGenerator.eco file in /Steam/steamapps/common/Eco/Eco_Data/Server/Configs.

Could be manual interactivity, produced by an other job, tier system with materials (wood, iron, steel). To me, it seems a bit complicated to implement, like a big update. But in the spirit of the game, useful for every job, and i'm pretty sure most of the players would love it.

There's a suggestion people can vote on for that as well: https://eco.canny.io/feature-suggestions/p/minecarts
