You can turn exhaustion off in the ESC Menu -> World Settings.

As others mentioned, you want to change the Sleep.eco file. The template file exists so administrators can update their configurations based on them after a game update without us overriding their settings. The non-template file, if existing, takes priority over the template file.

I would not, your answers are literally always correct, haha.

You are of course correct, I confused the cold forest with the tundra.

There has not been any changes in regard to that, did you by chance use explosives there recently? They cause ground pollution.

Sulfur can be found in grasslands and tundras, note that it will only be available on worlds that were generated after Update 11.1. If a dedicated server is used, WorldGenerator.eco also needs to have been updated from the template first.

As for the opening post, the issues of doors not closing rooms and carts not fitting 2 high spaces are fixed in upcoming Hotfix 11.1.1. The issue with the steam truck is unfortunately not reproducible.

Good to know. Honestly, that addition was even a last-minute one that I just pulled over into playtest near its end, it wasn't even planned to be added in that update.

I guess we might have underestimated the popularity of the addition. It was a rather small one though, as such it wasn't mentioned in the release notes - for major updates we only note big ticket items. Sorry!

Commands that are only restricted to Developer Tier can simply be used by players owning it, there is no specific steps.

I understand, but our stance hasn't changed. Most games don't even show or list such commands at all - for very good reasons, which have been already explained.

Eco has tons of useful commands available for admins and... Read more

Materials in stockpiles that are within a room reducing the room tier is intended.

We'll take a look at the rest. Thanks!

The character experience setting grants XP when the player gains specialty XP - it should hence be set to very low values, otherwise you'll level up extremely quick.

Jens is working here as designer for more than 4 years, we simply didn't have regular streams before that year and decided he'd be the best fit to do them. The company is also still owned and led by the same two people founding it over ten years ago - John and Milenko. It is natural that there is personnel fluctuation in over ten years.

Would be great if you stopped spreading such nonsense.

That was changed in Update 11.0, if you check the Disasters.eco.template you can see that setting does no longer exist in that config.

In /Steam/steamapps/common/Eco/Eco_Data/Server/Configs/Difficulty.eco check "MeteorImpactInDays" and make sure it is set to a value that is beyond the age of the world.

You can restore a backup of the save in the Storage/Backups folder, just copy the .db and .eco file of the last backup folder with your savegames name to the Storage folder and override it.

Hello Eco Citizens,
we're happy to announce the immediate availability of Update 11.1, let's take a look at what's new:

Explosives
Dynamite and Mining Charges controllable by Remote Detonators can now be crafted, allowing you to mine comfortably before heavy machinery becomes available. For this we have - next to Peat, which is also new - added Sulfur to the world generation and introduced the new materials Black Powder, Blasting Cap and Nitric Acid.

Explosives convert rock and ores into their crushed form, making it easy to mine them with the scoop attachment for the Steam Tractor. Be cautious, though, explosives affect flora and fauna, move the ground, make blocks fall and can even destroy player-built structures - of course they respect... Read more
