Update 9.5.3 introduced a regression while fixing another related issue that broke this, we're already working on a fix.

We have mentioned in the changelog introducing the config option and the server ui at the configuration variable directly that increasing the stockpile distance multiplier is EXTREMELY taxing on performance. Given you said you have a high multiplier for that, this will very likely be the cause of the issues you experience. Our recommendation is to not touch it at all, and if so, only minimal.

There is no such option in the vanilla game and we do not have plans to introduce one either, but Kyes EM-Admin mod has that functionality, so you might want to take a look at that. Last time I tried it, it was a bit wonky, but it did work: https://eco.mod.io/elixr-mods-features-pack

Given confusing answers were given:
If you just have people invited as residents to your hotel, they cannot remove furniture that you placed there, that is only possible if they have authorization on the deed additionally to being a resident.

Unfortunately not.

That has two reasons:
1) Steam Workshop does not allow mods to be distributed for server applications, only for actual games - all Eco mods are by design server-sided though. That would mean that installation of mods would only work for the bundled Eco Server in singleplayer, which forfeits the purpose. Server administrators would still have to get the files manually somewhere (and Steam has lately shut down pages that allow Workshop downloads via web) and install them manually - offering zero benefit through the workshop, making it more difficult, actually. I experienced that problem myself a few times, for example with Starbound, that suffers from the same problem, if I remember correctly.

2) Eco is offered outside of Steam on our website since before we even were on Steam - it is not in our interest to require modders to keep two places updated with their mods nor is it in our interest that our early supporters and everyone that decides... Read more

No, that has no effect. There always will be a slight pollution left, but that shouldn't have any real consequences if you're not around with twenty of them. In most cases this happens it's actually caused by the air pollution dropping down in biomes with medium or higher rain simulation, as typically workbenches that cause air pollution are near filters.

The air pollution component currently only works for workbenches that have a pipe connection and hasn't been finished for all of those that have which leads to this behaviour that indeed is on our list to polish up.

Hello Jodian,
unfortunately not, as just like you noone in our company was ever able to reproduce and get the issue on their games. We also had noone having such issues in our Public Playtest where we have added debug abilities. Our tries with 'guess fixes' have so far not been successful. What we'd basically need is sitting at your GF's computer with our full debugging tools and getting the issue, otherwise we don't have a good chance to get this fixed, it's been ongoing for a while.

Maybe your girlfriend wants to participate in the upcoming 9.6 Playtest (info will be on our Discord: https://discord.gg/eco), that might help. If she is going to do, just tell her to send me a DM about it on Discord once the playtest started, I ... Read more

No, the sea level cannot be lowered, that includes admin / dev commands. (Fun Fact: As Devs we just need to know if raising works, we don't ever care about lowering it, as that is not intended to happen - so there is no dev command for that)

Correct answers have already been given - just adding we wish to expand the whole statistics for economy a lot, given there is nearly nothing for that in the game yet, neither on Web UI nor in a usefulness for making decisions, especially with range longer than 100 transactions, sorting or graphs.

Tallow can be received with "Render Fat" at the Campfire after learning Campfire Cooking, which does not need to be unlocked. It's always good to check out the tooltips of the different items, they tell you exactly how to make them.

The thing is that we don't see a reason to remove those to begin with (as I said, performance implications come from stockpiles and physics objects - for the latter there is a removal command, not from structures) - we do not recommend you to remove structures due to owners no longer playing, this is not Ark or Conan Exiles. And if you want to nontheless, we would want you to actually need to use work to do so and respect the laws of 'nothing simply vanishes'.

Adding a cheap option that makes stuff just erase itself not only violates the idea of everything in Eco being part of economy and needing labour and effort that can be paid it also makes stuff on that plot simply vanish and be removed from the economy. That not only affects buildings, but also things with negative environmentally impact.

Not to state that Rathelm's idea of decay and a abandoned plot looking ugly after a while without care by the state or it being repurposed or auctioned off could have imp... Read more

Your name is set on the server for the whole cycle until reset of the savegame once you join and cannot be changed. Admins do have the option to use some dev commands to change the name, but that will likely to a crash and only after that the change is effective. We don't recommend to do it, as it could have weird side-effects, but it typically tends to work.

Hey Eco Citizens,
today we release Update 9.5.3 addressing the following issues reported by players:

Fixed: Contract escrow could end up not having the expected amount of currency to pay out contracts due to work parties having refunded their payments.
Fixed: Tooltips didn't show the information line under the item name on where it can be crafted anymore.
Fixed: The jump tutorial did not progress in worlds where the meteor was disabled.
Fixed: Tooltips could show an exception instead of the expected information after being moved through categories in the store.
Fixed: It was not possible to remove the content of a filter in civics once any entry was chosen due to the submit button disappearing when all items were unselected.

Fixed: Glass was displaying 'milky' at night.
