Ore sites, which are already bugged, can take a few days to clean out. New sites should no longer break since today’s DT.

The deployment request was sent by the team at 15:31 this afternoon (today) – how should I have posted that yesterday?

Our network partners are not going to investigate ice belt spawns. Our DBAs are not going to investigate ice belt spawns. Their work is also not going to be put on hold because some other team is investigating ice belt spawns. One mining fix is being deployed tomorrow and I know that team has in general been actively investigating spawn reports.

Just a quick update - one of the charts, Service Fees: Breakdown by Provider, had some small issues that were corrected this morning.

I hope you enjoyed it.

Official downtime each day is 15 minutes. We only advertise extensions if we expect to exceed that timeframe. On the topic of changes: https://twitter.com/CCP_Explorer/status/1503118118322909197.

Yes; we recently changed how markets are primed; have you noticed?

We prime 1000 solarsystems right after startup. Players who are eagerly waiting to log in, will be logging in as that priming is happening. Then the rest of the systems are primed when the first pilot jumps into them.

The contract system takes a while to prime after startup...

I see that people have had fun in this thread.

I was not amused. The issue encountered today had nothing to do with today’s experiment. Instead we got hit for the 8th time in 11 months with a mysterious issue that Microsoft hasn’t been able to resolve so far. Hopefully the logs this time show them something new – at least the symptom and error was slightly different than before after the latest round of change recommended.

What we were able to do of the experiment did provide information.

Not only that, but look how high at the top Poch is!

Hi,

We have a potential fix now on Singularity for the reported problem with the lagging mouse / trackpad, especially with dragging windows.
As I could never reproduce this on any of my test machines, it would be great, if you could take a look on Singularity and see if this issue is indeed fixed.

Tagging a few, who reported this issue recently: @OldGuyMonty , @Zed_s_Motorcycle

Thanks for you help!

UPDATE: 11:40 - Tranquility is back online and accepting connections. Due to the issues encountered during startup we are not proceeding with today’s experiment. The information in the post below is no longer relevant.

UPDATE: 11:29 - Tranquility is undergoing an unscheduled restart.

UPDATE 11:17 - Slightly longer than scheduled downtime is occurring - TQ should be back up by 11:25 UTC.

Greetings Capsuleers,

Today 14 March we will be doing an experiment following the startup of TQ after downtime. This involves the way in which the database preloads certain things e.g. solar systems and the market.

You might experience some info message popups when logging in today right after downtime, for example when selecting a character it might say that the solar system or the market is still loading etc. In all cases please just wait a few moments and then try again.

This situation will only be tempora...

Please file an EBR if you’ve not already done so, with as many system details as possible. Ideally from the client after a crash and you have restarted the game. If you have any reproduction steps, then please include these as they will help us to reproduce.
We’re trying to find as many common factors as possible between those who are experiencing this issue. We don’t have reproduction right now, as it seems to be very system-specific (hardware, os, etc…).

I you do not want to donate 200 but a lesser amount you can send it to me (Mike Azariah) and I shall aggregate and supplement to get it up to the minimum. If you do not know who I am? I am sure a few folks might vouch for me, not to mention the fact that scamming in regards to this would be a character suicide.

Back in the day before PLEX was broken up, a single PLEX was worth a full month of game time, so the minimum donation back then was the equivalent of 500 PLEX today. Accordingly 200 PLEX is a relatively “small” quantity of PLEX compared to what the minimum used to be.

The reason for the requested minimum is that all the contracts have to be checked and accepted manually, and there are hundreds coming in every day - it’s a big task! Honestly if someone sends even 5 PLEX we wouldn’t reject it - every little bit helps and we appreciate people giving whatever they’re able. The 200 PLEX minimum request is just to try and strike a balance between donation size and admin overhead.

So if you don’t have 200 PLEX and still want to give you can, or you can get together with some spacefriends and pass the hat around first. :+1:

Interesting ; if you (or the person who found it) hasn’t submitted a bug report, I ask that you do so we can dig through the logs and see if we can figure out what’s happening. Thanks for the report, I’ll see what we can do and try to determine what the issue is.
