Just as an update from CCP Swift’s message above (I’ll also add this to his post):

The root cause of the issue that occurred over the weekend has been identified. Unfortunately, however, the event has concluded as of downtime today. Whilst we understand this can be incredibly frustrating to those of you who were intending to progress in that final weekend, we have instead decided to award any character who reached the first milestone, of 50 points, to be supplied the entire reward track of SKINS directly added to their character.

We are in the process of investigating the best method to get these delivered and once a timeline has been established we will relay that here as well.

Hello again, EVE Portal users!

We have to stop meeting under these circumstances :frowning_with_open_mouth:. As you’ve undoubtedly noticed, the P100101 errors have resurfaced, preventing EVE Portal from launching. Unfortunately, the same methods we used to resolve the issue last time have not been successful this time.

Currently, we do not have a timeline for a fix for the EVE Portal. However, we are planning to update the app’s description to inform players about the current status.

We apologize for this outage and are very aware of how useful the EVE Portal app is for a large number of players. We hope to provide you with an update both through this thread and via email as soon as we know more.

Greetings Capsuleers,

We were made aware of an issue this weekend where Crimson Harvest challenges are not properly refreshing. This is not an isolated issue; every account that has not completed the reward track is experiencing these problems. Further, it did not resolve after today’s downtime.

We sincerely apologize for this outage. We’ll be updating this thread on Monday after speaking with the relevant teams regarding an equitable resolution to acknowledge the progress made during this weekend.

Could you file a bug report for this from within the launcher?

In the Settings menu, under Tools / Cache . You can access the Settings menu from the wheel icon in the top-right corner of the launcher (or the Ctrl+F menu)

The launcher will install itself into %LocalAppData% and %AppData% (Unless you use steam). It shouldn’t matter much if this is on a HDD or a SSD. As with the old launcher you can configure where the launcher keeps your EVE files. Having this location on a SSD is what you are looking for, as this will affect how quickly EVE can load.

If you have sufficient space and you’ve tried the “Fix permissions” option from the folder and it’s still unresolved, it might be worth trying the new launcher - Download the free EVE Online client (launcher) for Windows or Mac to see if you have any success.

Hello everyone,

There will be an extended downtime on Wednesday, 1 November for work on the EVE Online launcher support. (We will be working on activating the EVE SSO JWT Token again.)

We expect this work to take up to an additional 5 minutes beyond the regular downtime end time, and estimate that the server will be available at 11:20 UTC.

This was once again implemented during downtime on 31 October but rolled back.

This is going to be attempted during an extended downtime on Wednesday 1 November.

The initial post will be updated to reflect this change.

For those MAC users affected by the launcher issue. Please download the latest version of the launcher from Download the free EVE Online client (launcher) for Windows or Mac and see if the issue is now resolved.

If you’re encountering problems with the launcher can you try reinstalling it? You can download the launcher from Download the free EVE Online client (launcher) for Windows or Mac

Update - The launcher team is looking into the errors that were generated after the update was deployed.
