you can buy it again from the vendor in Tarir, as far as I know.

This is correct. Once you've completed the instance, the Exalted Mastery Vendor, in the Legacy Pillars area, will sell you a replacement Exalted Portal Stone if you lose the one given to you at the end of the instance.

The pedestals are used for the Cultural Attaché collection :)

What about Logan? Is self-loathing and intense angst just a guardian thing now?

I bet Logan has a huge Enya collection.

Hi, I am currently stuck on the new mission, where you have to destroy ooze generators, they are not taking any damage.

We are aware of this issue and are currently working on a fix.

Ah. You shouldn't be able to pick up another player's torch but unfortunately there's currently a bug that allows it. This will likely be fixed tomorrow but the workaround would be to select the Ice Wall and then press F. Sorry about that.

I don't believe it would be professional of me to tell you Alina Chadwick's name.

The change you suggest would prevent new players from enjoying the old content.

I think we could do it in a new map beyond the borders of Cursed Shore. Not saying that's in the works, but that's how I've imagined it would go down.

I thought it was a reference to Fable, espec. the Chicken Chaser title.

First of all, I just want to say thank you for being so active within the community as well as producing amazing content for the game, its been a real honor playing Gw1 & Gw2 over these 11 years.

Second my question being, have you guys ever thought about updating pre-existing areas with new content, by this I mean area's such as orr, it's been 4 years now since Zhaitan was defeated (well for most veterans of the game) and after all this time the risen numbers must be dwindling by now there can't be many left, it's time for people to get out their brooms and do a bit of tidying up and planting fresh plants and tree's to help restore orr to its natural beauty eh :P

The change you suggest would prevent new players from enjoying the old content.

Why are the Sons of Svanir suddenly barely able to speak? Atleast that potion guy seems to be surprised by our ability to almost articulate ourself in sentences. But I can't remember this way of talking from any Svanir we've met before. They all seemed to be of normal intelligence, even the corrupted ones.

In the past those who did not have the potential to become dragon lieutenants were mute and those that did could talk. We haven't made them dumber, we just introduced a class of Svanir that's in the middle.

Note that those with little corruption can always talk normally.

Well damn, been playing 2 hours and this for some reason is the best LS episode by far (can't quite put my finger on it, but maybe i'm too excited). Thanks to the whole team, i think the community often takes what you do everyday for granted, i sure don't.

I have a question for the narrative team or Living world team, I have only seen a little so far, but the Kodan lore seems to have gotten alot of love this patch, will we see something similar for the Tengu at some point in the future? :) Amazing job to the whole team, An Angel is surely watching over your game. ;D

Sorry, no spoilers.

I assume items required for the Cultural Attaché achievement should be given (if present in inventory) to Aurene via conversation as well? If so, the Zephirite Sanctum model doesn't work :C

There is a specific version you need to obtain from a specific vendor. I will double check this item, though, and see if I can repro it on our end. Thanks for the heads up.

Hi gw2 team, what programming languages do you use to develop gw2?

We're adding more and more JS over time as well.

A more general question, not related to the release of this episode - in the original Guild Wars The Mists were this mysterious space outside Tyria, home to places like The Realm of Torment and The Fissure of Woe. In Guild Wars 2 however it has mostly been used for PvP, WvW and Fractals, and has largely lost the thing that made it special. The Mists nowadays feel neither otherworldy, nor even relevant in any way. Are you considering in the foreseeable future bringing them back as a more interesting plot device?

Rytlock seems to have found something otherworldly in the mists recently (see class change).

Curious as to the decision to make the berries have a different icon on the minimal, as well as the gatherables for the grawl heart. Is this something we are going to see more of in new maps or retroactively? And why now?

The new icon was intended to differentiate them from herbs not related to quests / map meta.
