Come give it a shot! I suspect you’ll like it. I built my team out of people who deeply love this genre to combine and push the bar on the best aspects that have existed. Many people are getting hundreds or even thousands of hours of gameplay from their purchase already. We have an incredible amount more planned and for the community to be excited about in the next couple years.

Happy to hear you’re enjoying it and we appreciate you taking the time to say this. I’ll screenshot and share with my team this morning - I’m sure it’ll give everyone a boost. Cheers!

Long shot but in the reinstall process, I don’t think that the graphics ini file gets removed. I’m on mobile so I don’t have the exact path or link but you can find the path to it on our support site. Deleting that will cause the game to remake a new default one on start up.

You’ve already tried most of the common things so I don’t have any low hanging fruit to try.

The changes made to how you reduce your corruption were required to be implemented and tested before we could really look at corruption sharing as even a possibility as previously it could get a whole timeline into a completely unplayable state if you farmed corruption while getting carried. This is still an issue but it is fixable by the player with the new zone type.

Not sure why problem is in quotes, it’s definitely a problem. It’s also not unique to LE at all, there are just better solutions available in other situations because of related factors. The other option we had available was to put a zone transition party popup window, similar to what you see in D3 when entering a boss room. This would let everyone transition at the same time and it would allow for additive loading. It is also what happens in the monolith already. This is acceptable because everyone is in the rest zone so we can kinda put everyone in a bottle and change the echo that is loaded on the same server. We have looked at some other solutions that have been implemented in other games. Well, as much as we can given limited access availability. I am very aware of POE’s transitions.

People are working on this problem.

It’s because a new server has to be spun up when there is more than 1 player. When you are playing solo online, the server you are already on can just unload the old zone and load a new one. When you are in multiplayer online, the first person can’t unload the exiting zone because the other people are still in it. So a new server has to be spun up to send that first player to. This is what causes that delay.

Congratulations to you and your significant other!

I've been on a misinformation information mission lately with regards to comments about the monolith system.

We have no plans for a new or revamped monolith system.

We do plan to add new features to the monolith and improve elements of what is already there too. The core system is not under review.

a) it will be a very very long way to 1.0 version

b) you will be in beta forever. Even if you reach 1.0, it will be a beta also.

Don't get me wrong. I am one of those aRPG fans who voted with their wallet, didn't (and never will) buy diablo IV and preferred last epoch. After 250 hours in the game I have pinpointed hundreds of bugs and UI issues which need to be fixed. I have posted some of them in LE forums and some of them here. To tell you the truth I paid for LE linux native client which is seriously broken and needs to be fixed (and the problem persists for 4 years, from what I am reading). So if there are problems that can't be addressed for 4 years, where last epoch's team is heading?

Disciplines needed to update this consist of a combination of level design, tech art, and UI designers, which are still pretty limited. Those same disciplines have been on things like performance, necessary UI updates, and reworking outdated chapter and end game content. There will still be plenty of work on things post 1.0, though we are hoping to find time for this before. We actually have a branch with a different map outline design that shows some promise but that’s only a portion of it. We’ll get there!

Haha very rare to see! And yes, 4x T7 is possible.

We’re very aware of this. We intend to tackle in from both reducing brightness in some zones and changing the overlay map outline visuals. It hasn’t reached the top of the priority list but it’s certainly talked about a lot internally and tracked as an upcoming sprint task

So, I feel compelled to share a story looking at your setup. It looks like you may be a security officer of some sort due to the camera screens - when I was 12-14 playing Diablo 2 non stop, staying up way way too late because I was entirely obsessed, I gamed frequently late night with an overnight security guard. Sometimes we’d have to pause our bloody foothills or Baal runs because something showed up on his camera monitors. Those were some of my favorite times and were very formative in my obsession for Diablo-likes and played a big role in why Epoch exists.

Anyway, glad you’re enjoying the game!

Glad you think so - we do too. There’s a lot to look forward and much planned for post 1.0!
