Thanks, having to register there really limits the access for people who have plenty of other games to play rather than try to get this one fixed.
Even the notoriously buggy Pathfinder series just had a handy alt-b to submit bug reports and automatically add a screenshot you can doodle on if you want.
If you are already playing the game, it uses the same account so while there is an extra step, it's not an extra account.
You technically don’t have to pick one but it will really hard as you will only have access to the base class skills, not even the pre-lock line passives and skills. You can advance the story without picking one in multiplayer by getting someone else to get to that point with you, leave party, have them advance and then portal to them. It will be brutal.

Unfortunantely the promotion for the backpack was purchases had to be made BEFORE the 0.9.0 launch. Which means if you purchased on the day of, it would have been to late.
We’ll be looking to get it into a hotfix, but I’m not sure when that will be.
Your post was confusing because it called out the skill “Static” which does not have a cold conversion. From the pictures, I think you meant the skill “Static Orb” which does have a cold conversion.
I have moved this to Bug Reports.
Could you point out the node which converts the ability Static (not Static Orb) to cold?
Did you try the fix that aDroogie commented above?
I had this same error when entering Heoborean and all adjacent areas. This was also accompanied with if I tried to do the first Monolith, it would not load and just stay stuck loading. These were both resolved for me by validating my game files through steam.
For those who dont know how to do this:
- Right click The Last Epoch in your Steam Library.
- Select Properties
- Select Local Files
- Select Verify integrity of game files

Also to the reports, I checked the zip, and while it is odd, and even more odd when you get in there, it appears to be just some images.
Can you post your player log from this session if you still have it? Also, can you please list the skills you were using when this occurred as well as a gif of the bug happening?

Cool ideas! We’ve actually brought up a couple of these internally in game design meetings as well, especially tying them to dungeon rewards. We have an idea that we’re going to try out that’s a bit different that a few team members are pretty enthusiastic about, but we enjoy these conversations because it’s possible someone will come up with something better than we’re imagining atm!
