I’m inclined to agree with you. One bug that is affecting some shouldn’t stop them from fixing bugs that are affecting others. It’s just so incredibly frustrating to see the developers lack of any response towards this issue. Even just a timeline for potential fixing or even just letting us know they are looking into it would be so much better than simply ignoring it. For the longest time they simply denied it was a problem until a post on the forum got over 1000 votes. Countless customer support inquires have led to nothing. My wife is just getting into to magic and this is a huge bummer for her not getting those new standard decks.

However, you will basically never hear about timelines or progress updates on specific bugs until they are fixed, because until they are actually fixed (and sometimes even after), it's always possible that the problem is much bigger or deeper than you think. It doesn't mean it's been forgotten - it means that, when we speak on it, we want to actually have something to say.

Is your wife's account new? If that account was created after the August 24 update and is experiencing this issue, I would like more details. So far, all of our indications show that only a few specific accounts from before that time are affected.

We reluctantly shelved the usual Cube event for Midnight Hunt when the delay of our set release cut a week out of the schedule. But have no fear - it will be back during Crimson Vow!

These grants are in progress currently. All players who had an event end early will receive gems equivalent to the sealed and/or draft entry fees (regardless of whether you entered with gold, gems, or tokens). You will also keep the cards from your original pool and whatever rewards you earned from the in-progress courses.

We plan to do an automatic grant to MTG Arena players who had their draft and sealed events forcefully ended as a part of today's extended maintenance.

This includes players who may have received event rewards based on their current record when the event was forcefully closed. Players will not need to submit a support ticket to receive their reimbursement. The timing of this automatic reimbursement is TBD.

Oh hey, cube events will for sure be back during Crimson Vow! It might not be exactly during the holidays, but I promise we'll have some good stuff then to keep you busy too. :)

Frankly, that's just not very likely. "We're still working on some things that you won't be seeing for a while" isn't a very good inclusion in a "here's the major stuff coming to the game right now" article. Plus, stuff like this can change literally by the day, and it doesn't really help the conversation to have people citing an old article as gospel.

It's on the way. Client navigation has been in a tough spot during pandemic, as it works just well enough to not require critical attention while more urgent stuff got sorted out. But some very large must-dos have recently been checked off, so we can put the attention on it that it deserves.

Nothing is ever guaranteed until it goes live, but hopefully you'll see some of the first changes "soon."

I'm a little confused about the update to Jump In! Are they replacing the existing half packs or are they just adding additional half packs? If the later, that's not helpful. The majority of the half packs are probably not providing that many new cards at this point.

Well, we'll find out soon.

The VOW packets will be added to the existing ones. The intent is for Jump In to provide a variety of different mechanics and play experiences that represent all of Standard.

We're continuing to investigate, but don't have a solution identified yet. Current line of investigation is around an issue with some graphics cards/drivers, so updating drivers might help here.
