Yup, anything with a printed version will use that original version, so The One Ring, Bowmasters, Minsc & Boo, etc.

A big thing is will they refund 3 wildcards for a card they restrict? Like, for example if we craft ragavan and they decide it is too good so they restrict it, will we get 3 wildcards back?

Edit: From the article:

Cards on the restricted list will be limited to only a single copy in the combined main deck and sideboard. When a card is added to the restricted list and is no longer legal in any other format, players will receive wildcards for each copy of the card in their collection greater than one. For example, if a player owns four copies of a card that is added to the restricted list, the player will receive three wildcards for that change.

There will not be wildcard reimbursement for the three card restrictions made with the launch of Timeless.

Yes, that's exactly how things will work

There was a brief window where, effectively, mobile players were sent to an alternate dimension. This is back to normal now, and everyone should be connected back to their proper account data.

I hope the solution didn’t involve pruning an entire alternate dimension!

The dimension still exists, just once again properly sequestered away from players. No database records were harmed as a result of this.

You're going to need to disambiguate that Chris (we've got a lot of them), but I'll pass that on!

Edit: Oh wait, I bet that "B" was meant to apply to both Chris & Sam, and now I know who you mean

Thanks, I’ll try to find it. As an old boomer I really hate discord for archiving information. It’s great for in the moment conversations but Terrible for finding anything older then a day or two. Prefer the old forum system my self.

/u/I_said_no_cops - try this link! (I, too, am still learning Discord)

Did anyone attend the Q&A or have a transcript? I totally forgot about it.

Hey /u/I_said_no_cops - it might take a little bit of scrolling, but if you join our Discord (or if you're already in it) and you head to the channel #design_talk, you are able to read back through the Q&A. It's also a channel that we actually keep live as a safe space for players to talk and for devs to hop into here and there to answer questions.
Apologies on the delayed response here but hope that helps!

my brother in christ ??? what do you think WOTC understand from this operation ?????

We understand what they said in the OP. We monitor reaction and performance in a variety of ways, including both raw sales data and social sentiment.

You might be asking this because you've noticed that some cards will auto-target (for example, A-Blood Artist automatically targets your opponent). If so, the difference here is that Arena will automatically pick the only legal target for abilities (so, Conclave Tribunal will automatically target the only nonland permanent your opponent controls, for example) but will not automatically pick targets when you're actually casting a spell. Probably this is intended as misclick protection by making you actually confirm all targets when casting.

This is exactly right. When casting a spell, we like to make sure there's at least one choice you're making, so that you get an "Oh wait, what? No! Cancel!' window

Fair warning: This is a bug, and at some point we'll fix it. If you want the Pinkie Pie avatar to actually keep, you'll want to buy it from the store (which also contributes to charity).

Hey Reddit,

Wanted to bring y'all our next Dev Diary article (https://magic.wizards.com/en/news/mtg-arena/dev-diaries-what-we-mean-by-basically-no-bans) where our own David Finseth dives into some data on one of our recent breakout events - Historic All-Access No Ban List. As some of you may know, later this week we are opening the queue to our next iteration of this event - Historic All-Access, Basically No Bans!

On top of the great read and peak behind-the-scenes, David will be hosting a Q&A in the official Magic Discord (...
