International Yargle Day (where Yargle wears a beret), is celebrated on March 9th, because of DD/MM/YY date formats.

Thanks for the report! We think that this was a result of not everything getting fully scaled out in this morning's release, and that it should be fixed now. Please let us know if you're continuing to see these problems.

Jay, who decides how daily deals are made? Is it one guy? The whole team? An algorithm?

It's mostly one person. They keep a calendar of special dates to theme around, and other times pick an assortment. Like anything, we'll also run with good ideas that come from anywhere, across the team or even beyond. Credit to u/GravyBus for pointing out HamBoneRaces cake day and that this was an event worth celebrating

There you go. Happy cake day u/HamBoneRaces, and thanks for all you do for this community

If this is happening consistently for you, try going to Options -> Report Bug -> Validate Bundles. This can happen when your local assets get corrupted, and running that will check whether any are and redownload them if so

This was supposed to go out to everyone who logged in during the time XP was bugged, but something seems to have gone wrong, resulting in some players (including me) not getting the message. We're looking into it.

Edit: Ok, we think we've now gotten everyone who logged in during that time. Sorry for the delay here!

Correct; that should happen later today or maybe early tomorrow

Hey, thanks for the report! We're aware of an issue where XP is not always being applied correctly, and we are working to get a fix deployed soon. We will also make sure that everyone gets full credit for any XP they missed out on.

As of about 20 min ago, if you restart your client this should be fixed.

I would be surprised if it was causing that, but it's possible. In any case, the XP issue should be fixed now. If you continue to see issues with your rank, please contact CS

  7. Modal effect resolution order
  8. Spell copy effects and target counts.
  9. Negative Power corner cases (You can cutdown a -12/17)
  10. State based actions

It's funny but 5% of the rules cover 95% of the game states and 95% of the rules are needed 5% of the time.

This is a very good list. First 3 items there resolve probably 95% of the "Why did this happen this way?" questions you see on this sub

Thanks for the additional information! That behavior lines up with what we're seeing.

So your starting point is that a rare wildcard is worth approx. 400 gems? (Guesstimating from the slash prices of the two standard decks.)

That seems like an awful lot compared to the price of a pack.

We think a rare you get to pick (wildcard) is worth more than a random rare (pack), yes

Yes, at least at that "Decks start off with a base price" level. Then the whole deck gets discounted, so within any given deck every rare/mythic has the same value, but when comparing decks they might differ, if one deck has a different discount than the other
