I believe I was just DDOS on the PS4. I was the last alive starting a 1-5 and took out one with a pistol. Was tracking another when all of the sudden rubber band, disconnect from servers. I NEVER get disconnected!!!!!

So my question is WHY on dedicated servers do we connect to ALL other players in the MP? There should be 1 connection, me to the server.

Then to top it off the IP addresses are visible. Thanks UBI!! SMFH!

Is the party system used in any way linked to Rainbow Six Siege? I am not sure what system you are discussing, but I am unaware of any ability to invite players into a squad while in game.

Hey jmgeraci80, the best way to report players on console is to report them in game. Thanks!

Hello! Please note that making player reports on the forums is Naming and Shaming, as we do not have means on the forums to look into or ban players. If you would like to make a cheater reports (which includes DDoS reports), please make one on our support portal or privately with our teams on Facebook or Twitter.

Hello, fuarkmirin. I can only help in English on these forums. As it sounds like you'd like to report players for potentially cheating through DDoS attacks, please consider making a ticket with our support portal or privately with our teams on Facebook or Twitter to report these players.

I am sorry to hear that you have experienced this and I can understand your frustration. The dev team are aware of this issue and are currently investigating.

We are dedicated to ensuring a positive gaming experience and maintaining the integrity of the game. If you encounter a player you suspect is causing issues with the connectivity on purpose then please do report them to us.

For reporting players, the best way to do this is in-game. See our FAQ on how to do that here. If you were not able to report in-game, can you please create a support ticket on our support website with any video evidence here.

Hey Linkawk, thank you for your response to this thread. As my colleague Ubi-Keo mentioned in their post above, the dev team are aware of the issue and are actively investigating for a solution. We welcome reports from dedicated players such as yourself to allow us to identify players who breach our code of conduct or negatively impact our players' experiences of playing our games, and aim to ensure that a positive, engaging and enjoyable gameplay experience is maintained for all.

Should you wish to report players for their conduct, please use the in-game reporting tools to do so, or submit a report via our support website by creating a new case. We appreciate and value all reports that we receive, and are grateful to our players for taking the time to contact us.

Hello istisna-35, thank you for taking the time to post on our forums with regard to this issue. It is great to hear that you have also been in touch with us via a support case, and I thank you for helping us to improve the experience that we offer to our players in our games. It is reports such as yours that allow us to consistently improve our games, and ensure that the integrity of the game is maintained.

It is against our policy to discuss the outcome of player reports and internal investigations into player conduct with anyone but the account owner(s) themselves. This is the reason that you were advised that we are unable to communicate the outcomes of your reports with you, and this same rule applies to all players who submit reports to us. I hope that this helps to clarify matters.

I do fully appreciate your frustration, and please rest assured that our teams are aware of this issue and are investigating. Thank you for your continued patience, support and passion for Rainbow Six Siege.

Rest assured that one of our agents will respond to you as soon as they are able, Mustafaiq1998.

We are dealing with a higher number of contacts at the moment which is meaning that replies can take a little longer than we'd like - please accept my apologies for this.

Hello Haliti414. I'm extremely sorry to hear that this happened and that it has been more frequent lately. Support is not able to adjust rank or restore lost ranked points, but I'd be glad to get this reported. Were you able to get any recordings of your connection being interrupted during these matches?

Hey folks,

Sorry to hear this is occurring.

I recommend reaching out to our live chat support here so we can look into this for you.

Hey Tomasa13,

We are unable to return any lost rank or MMR, sadly.

I can forward your report to the team, however.

Hey, kaczuski!

Apologies for the negative experience. Please understand that support cannot restore rank or lift temporary bans. If you suspect that the connection was disrupted by another player, please provide complete and accurate details at support.ubi.com for the team for review.

In order to investigate, make sure to include the following information:

Platform:

Suspected player(s):

Video link:

Did you get disconnected from your match?

Did you experience lag while this was happening?

Did you freeze (check the in-game timer to see) or did you crash (had to reboot)?

Players that have been found to be initiating DDoS/DoS attacks will be banned.

Thanks

Thanks for providing this feedback, I appreciate you’re eager to know Ubisoft’s stance on console players using Keyboard and Mouse in-game. This is a complex topic involving hardware, live services, and security. We are working to deliver a global and reliable solution for detection but do not have more info yet as investigations are ongoing.

In the meantime, please feel free to report any players you feel may be using an exploit to gain an unfair advantage using the steps outlined in this [URL="https://support.ubi.com/en-gb/faqs/27081/"]FAQ[/URL and we will certainly investigate this further.

Hey, Shaneshrader99!

Thank you for providing us with this report. Could you reach out to us with the players details that are causing this via a private message on our social media channels:

Facebook

Twitter

In regard to no longer being able to connect, could you try turning your router off and completely powering down your console. Then turn the router back on and power up your console, this will clear the cache of your console and also assign a new IP address to your router. If this does not work please try the steps here:

Thank you.

Hi there scout 822, thank you for getting in contact and sorry to see you believe your team were being DDoS attacked and lobby froze.

If you would like to help us fight back against these hackers, please contact us through -

Facebook Support - https://www.facebook.com/UbisoftSupportUK/

If you do report these players to us, remember to give us the following information -

- Mention DDoS when contacting us
- Game you were playing and what platform?
- Exact time and date of match this happened
- Suspected hacker names (A screenshot of the leaderboard / team would also help)
- Any video clips of the match showing you being hacked / disconnected
- Any messages you may have received from these cheating players

Hello Sman65, thank you for getting in touch.

At the moment when we successfully locate these players it will result in a permanent ban. We can also ban players IP addresses and computers as well as their accounts.

I understand your frustrations with the issue and how the affected players in the match will get disconnected which can lead to temporary abandonment sanctions for multiple disconnections or leaving the lobby just before the match starts.

The Siege team are always looking at player feedback on this and ways to correct this, for more information, please see their post on this and keep an eye out for more updates -
