I'll be closing this thread now since it's just turning into a console war which is not what these forums are for.

If you are concerned about the game's effect on your machine, please reach out to Ubisoft Support for additional assistance.

Thank you.

Hey SubRykon. I come bearing bad news. I looked around on your profile and unfortunately since it was technically never posted there's nothing we can do.
It sounds... intense though, to say the least.

Keep in mind the different Apparel Events also add in new cosmetic/vanity items into the pool. There are definitely opportunities for more to be added as we move forward.

Hey PapaZulu, does this continue to occur after switching out your weapons to two entirely different things, then back? Is there a particular Error message that you get when this happens?

Content is unlocked on the Public Testing Server so that it can be tested, tweaked, and honed before live release.
There is a limited amount of time that the PTS will be open, and even more limited still that the Episode content will be open for testing.
The Gunner Specialization went through the exact same process.

A maintenance will occur on Monday 1st July 2019 from 12:00 to 16:00 UTC.

The maintenance might intermittently prevent you from accessing Uplay PC and the online features of Ubisoft games, or might cause disconnections from these services.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

UPDATE 21:05 UTC: The restarts are complete and the login issues should now be resolved. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Please follow this thread for updates.

Greetings Agents,

Update: The maintenance has been postponed, see below for new times.

The servers will shut down for maintenance on Thursday, June 27th at 03:00 PM CEST / 09:00 AM EDT / 06:00 AM PDT. Estimated downtime is approximately 3 hours.

  • Fixed an issue that allowed players to transfer the exotic talent from the Dodge City Gunslinger exotic holster.
  • Fixed an issue with the Basilisk armor that prevented Special Field Research progression under certain circumstances.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed players to acquire unintended amounts of signature weapon ammo.
  • Fixed an issue that caused NPC armor to be stronger than intended.

Please follow this thread for any updates as the maintenance progresses.

Thank you,
The Division 2 Team

Hey, I'm moved this over to The Division 2 forums where it belongs.

Hey,

I've moved this to general discussion for more visibility.

If you do need help with a specific issue, however, I would recommend you create a case on the support website so we can look into this.

You may need to go to the Specializations officer and talk to them in order to get it started.

I've moved this over to The Division 2 forums instead of The Division.

Give the game a quick reinstall and make sure Uplay is up to date. If you're stilling running into this issue, please reach out to Ubisoft Support for additional assistance.

Some other players pointed it out, thankfully, but just to clarify a point the OP glossed over - the Matchmaking Raid is a lower difficulty and does not include the Exotic or Gear Set drops. It is not the same difficulty Raid but with Matchmaking and the loot ripped out.

As others have also pointed out, the Matchmaking Raid can provide a good field test for you and your team get accustomed, get acquainted, and get acclimated to each other and the content. From there it's the simple step up of moving on to the Normal Raid. Any group that falls apart in the Matchmaking Raid will likely not fare much better with the same group in the higher difficulty one.

Please remember to be respectful and considerate to each other in your discourse.

PTS. No official announcement on TU5 live date yet.

It was interesting to see the topic and tone of this thread shift as talk about the loot got involved.

As others above me have mentioned, the Matchmaking mode for an easier difficulty of the Raid provides a good stepping stone for finding team, learning the mechanics, and going through the content.

It works on several levels as a sort of litmus test; if a team made through Matchmaking cannot complete the Discovery Raid whether it's due to communication, gear, or skill, that same team likely would have had those same troubles if not more on a higher difficulty. Sure, that team might have difficulty on the hard Raid, but by then they have worked together before, completed the Raid before, and may be more familiar with the builds everyone is running - and all with random players.
