That one Kotaku article that was making the rounds referenced this topic briefly. Though I don't believe reducing the player count to 4 was a part of the discussion at the time. That said, I appreciate your feedback nonetheless!

The various animals always catch me off guard, no matter how many times I might see them. I've always felt they're really well done.

Plus overgrown/nature-reclaimed cities are an aesthetic that I can really vibe with.

Thank you for the detailed answers covering every platform, everyone!

Joonnnyy and Cassious pretty much covered the bases for what usually ends up causing this confusion. Please let me know if it lingers after sorting those things out.

Thank you for the workaround. I recall topics similar to this being brought up a while ago but I guess it has made a resurgence.

I'm not quite sure I understand. The first phase has one requirement specifically for the Sharpshooter... but beyond that things seem pretty equal with recent Spec changes. I mean, for Basilisk's armor, I thought I had seen a lot of talk about how direct grenade Launcher hits are a reliable way to go.

What other objectives do you feel need use of the Sharpshooter?

I think the logic is that the more difficult missions will provide better rewards... it's something to stretch for.

Thanks for the quick tip, PointMarmot!

Accuracy, melee damage, grenade/drone spam, and in general enemy AI behavior are all things that have been tweaked in pretty much universal cases.

Talking about those tweaks possibly not being enough or how they contribute to game difficulty is one thing, but please don't imply they've never been altered.

Is there a particular one of these that you feel causes a poignant problem with game difficulty?

Hey,

I'm moving this to general discussion for more visibility.

I'll admit I'm a bit confused by this post... could you explain your take on the situation a little bit more, please?

I appreciate the feedback here everyone.. RNG, especially for things like exotics and difficult content likes Raids, can be a nuanced discussion involving booth human psych and game design principles, as several comments suggest here.

To jump off of a point that's been raised here, how much effort-in do you feel should guarantee an Exotic as reward-out?

Been loving this in depth mechanics discussion... I'll have to keep this thread bookmarked in case someone asks about differences/advantages between building for health vs. armor.

Thank you for the feedback on the state of PvP.

What are methods or lengths you've taken to try and deal with those running shotgun builds?

Thank you for this report. Has anyone else come across this weird little hiccup?

Thanks for the tips everyone - as well as for the feedback regarding Specializations.
