Sure, well that depends on the kind of suspension you received. When you load up Apex, does a screen pop up with a ban message? Does this screen pop-up for other EA games you play?

I'm sorry, this isn't something we can overturn. If a ban or suspension was correctly added for rule-breaking, it's there to stay until the duration has passed. In your case, once the 7 days are up, you'll be able to return and play as normal again.

I'm sorry, we won't know why you were banned or be able to overturn it from the forums. Could you check the in-game message and email?

 

  • In-game message: For a specific game ban, like with Apex, there will be a message that crops up when you try to log into the game. 
  • Emails from '[email protected]': Terms of Service will notify you through email when a ban or suspensions been added with some context as to why a ban was added.

Sorry to hear that. It's never a great feeling to discover your account has be used by someone else, in this case your brother, and that they broke the rules while on there, leaving you with the ban. That does suck. A ban in that scenario isn't a false one though, it's correctly applied. You see, you're responsible for the activity on your account:

So, something to be aware of; hacking is where people exploit a computer system or a private network inside a computer in order to break into an account. From what you've shared in your post, this wasn't what happened at all. You mentioned you accidentally shared your login information with the internet while streaming and someone took full advantage of that lapse. Can you take a look through your emails? Please search for emails received from the email address: [email protected]. There will be an email from Terms of Service that shares the general rule broken for example: ban applied for cheating/hacking/hate speech/etc.

Correct, you can review a log of the money you've spent to purchase in-game currency (coins) from the consoles purchase history. There isn't yet an in-game transaction history available where you can review how you then spent those coins in Apex.

 

If you've a security concern or noticed coins missing from your balance, I'd recommend getting in touch with the EA Help team so they can pull up your account and take a look.

You can check your purchase history but in the game itself. The purchase history location depends on what you use to play Apex. Do you play on Pc through Origin or Steam? Are you on Xbox or PlayStation?

Thanks for taking the time to share this experience with others.

 

You're 100% correct. Contacting the Terms of Service (ToS) team is only advisable if you believe the ban was added by mistake/no rules were broken. There is no purpose reaching out to the ToS team aside from that as they will not overturn bans if the rules were broken and creating appeals for legitimate bans adds more to the queue and causes the wait times to spike.

 

Often toxic/hurtful comments are shared in the heat of the moment but they cross a line and as a result suspensions and even bans soon follow. The rules are there for a reason. It's as the ...

Hi @lukeal12,

Earning a ban doesn't result in your EA account being deleted. You account will remain, it'll just have a ban on it instead.

There's no way around the security check. The support team can't help you make any changes until you pass that stage which means the Xbox gamertag linked up will linked up to that account.

So if the email can't be recovered, or you can't recall the information needed to pass the security check, you're looking at opening up a new gamertag and linking it to a new EA account to play Apex from the Xbox.
