I'm sorry but we won't have the specifics of your ban here on the forum side. Can you take a look through your emails? There should be an email from Terms of Service that shares a duration if you've received a temporary suspension as well as the general rule broken i.e.: ban applied for cheating/hacking/hate speech/etc.

 We can't look into bans for you from the forums but our Terms of Service team can take a look. Terms of Service are the team that exclusively handle banned account cases. 

 

It sounds like you already reached out to the support team about a banned account and they mistook it for a hacked account. They can fill in an appeal on your behalf if they understand the reason for reaching out to them, but it's always better to pop in a ban appeal directly to the Terms of Service team in your own words. Hi @selendis24,

That doesn't sound right...when it comes to being banned on other platforms, that's outside of our wheelhouse. We'll only ban the EA account itself or the EA game.

An EA account ban will mean being banned from playing any online features in any of the EA games on that EA account. Maybe that's what you're seeing? Are you trying to load up EA games on your Xbox?

Sorry to hear that. It's never a great feeling to discover your account has be used by someone else, in this case your brother, and that they broke the rules while on there, leaving you with the ban. That does suck.

The EA support team can't help with unlinking accounts connected to an EA account that has a ban in place. Account is locked from any account changes being made while a bans active.
