No one dev decides on everything in the game and it’s better to have staff involved in those processes doing their work so we can get resolutions implemented sooner than posting to the forum.
We take time to let everyone try out the new update and get used to things and share their feedback before making decisions also.

I just wanted to pop in to let you know the feedback from the update has been getting passed onto the development team for consideration.
We have also prioritised the accessability feedback in our reports to the team.

With the release of game update 7.0 we have moved Raid Boss and Invasion Events from being weekend events to week long events for all platforms.
However, the Switch content schedule is roughly 9 months behind the other platforms, so additional support was needed to be included in the game in order to continue the Switch content schedule and weekend Raid Boss and Invasion events normally.
So what does this all mean?
This means that from the 7.0 update there will be no Raid Boss or Invasion events on Switch until game version 7.1 releases.
We made this decision so we could give you the 7.0 update at the same time as everyone else despite the content schedule differences.
There would have been a Raid Boss event this coming weekend:
Daily reset on Friday 28th - weekly reset Monday 31st (GMT),
Instead we’ll be having a Vault event on Switch this weekend.

I know we’ll be doing something to help those who spent Gems on this one tomorrow during regular business hours but I don’t have details yet. We’ll definitely update you tomorrow with the details.

We’re currently looking into whether this is caused by a memory usage issue on some devices.
If I could get you to send me some additional information, we’ll check to see if your issue matches up with that theory as well or not. We’re trying to confirm by gathering this information from a number of players as well as checking for errors on the affected accounts from the back end.

Agreed that would be a terrible idea, which is why we’ve been looking for the cause of the issue to try to understand it and implement a fix to the actual problem. In lieu of finding an issue in the project so far though that could cause this we’ve also been trying some things to attempt to speed things up as well.
We’re still actively investigating this.
It’s going to be raised again on Monday and I’ve sent some additional information to the development team from the info you’ve all provided, thank you so much and thank you again all for your extended patience while we do our best to get to the bottom of this issue.
We’re currently investigating if there is a RAM usage issue on just some devices after other attempted fixes and checks haven’t resolved some graphics issues for some users. I’m wondering if this issue here is related or not.
I’ll DM you @Maisie to get some more specifics about your RAM usage just in case.
@DAeron we have a test wall with devices with various specs from very old low end devices to the latest Samsungs etc.
We can’t reproduce the issue on our test Android devices still, so this is going to need some more indepth investigating on Monday.
In the meantime you can try to reinstall to ensure you have all the latest game files.
Also can you let me know which device model and Android version you’re on as well as how much free storage and RAM your device has?
I’m very sorry this issue has popped up for you all again especially when we were expecting it and thought we’d fixed it already, and I know reinstalling can be a pain on mobile (please make sure you connect to wifi so you don’t use your mobile data).
