Can you give us an estimate of how old is the current saved game?
Before you started to get the issue did you perform any unusual activity in the game or left your character inside a structure you usually didn’t?
Also, around the time the issue started were you in the process of building a new large structure?
Do you usually exit the game completely every day your play session is over or do you leave it on standby?

Thank you all for your feedback and for reaching out to us. It’s not possible to edit the input.ini to reintroduce the TAB key to its original use. Our team decided to change it mostly because it wasn’t “rebindable” or available for gamepads.
On Pc, as some of you have mentioned there’s a great mod that makes it possible to continue to use it as it was.
We know not all changes will please everyone, but we hope you understand our decision in the long run.

Can you please share the MS Info log?
In order to generate an MSInfo file please follow the steps below:
1 - Press Win+R and in the displayed dialog box type “msinfo32”
2 - It should show a new screen called “System information” where underneath it should display “File”, click “File” while “System Summary” is highlighted and then “Export”
3 - Name your file as you see fit and save it to an easy-to-find location
4 - Send that file our way
Additionally, can you provide more details about what happens next after the screen blackens out? Are you still able to leave the game or access the task manager, or does it freeze the system completely?
