u/ProgRocktopus Could someone official comment on that for all the Sova mains?
We're discussing; looking at a more comprehensive solve for lineups.

Rounded to 150, so you probably did 149.5 damage to him.
I'm checking the rounding in the combat report to ensure it's using FLOOR
.
EDIT: Combat report math is correct. The issue seems to be more nuanced and has to do with how damage is applied when armor is in play. We have someone working on a solve.

This was the goal. We're going to do another visual pass to introduce some color and possibly iconography to polish it off.
I think it's temporary - they are working on an improvement over the old one (the new one is at least an improvement in visibility). It's in the patch notes somewhere
We're going to do at least one more pass on the minimap icons before launch. Without a portrait breaking up the space the icon appears larger, but it's the same size as before.
The current one from the newest patch is just a placeholder, it'll end up getting replaced eventually.
Yes, we're doing at least one more pass on these before launch. We'll introduce some color to your own icon, and revise the visuals a bit. The goal of the change was to make yourself easier to find, and this first step helps, but we have more to do in terms of polish.
Funnily enough, the icon is not any bigger than before. It just looks bigger because there's no portrait in the middle breaking up the white circle.
Mentioned in the patch notes but worth repeating: we're doing at least one more pass on the art for the minimap icons before launch.
"to the shop" So we have to spend actual cash to get this feature?
Gun shop (the one in the game), not the cash store outside of the game. We need better names for these.
EDIT: aka the buy menu
Hey, sorry for hijacking your comment but my friend found a very annoying bug with aiming that I want to make sure gets seen. Basically if your mouse sens is less than 0.1 and you do micro pixel by pixel aim adjustments, your cursor will not move. If you move your mouse fast it will work fine, small movements will not work. At the beginning my sens is 0.1 so it works fine. Also my dpi is 1600. Please try it in training. Just do like 0.09 aim sens and use a scoped rifle.
Here is a video.
Fixed in the most recent patch, 0.49+, I believe.
"Fixed aim issue that caused some players who were using low sensitivity to have small mouse movements dropped"
We'd like to add several things to the shop, including keyboard shortcuts and/or buy macros like you've described. Not sure when "Shop v1.1" will find its way in, but it's definitely on our minds.
i love how this was brought up on reddit and everyone was like "lol why that's not crucial or anything" and a dev said "nah it makes sense so why not, we'll put it in" gotta love the feedback from the devs on this game
One of those things we thought about but didn't initially push to do. Then you all brought it up and we said, "Okay, they think this is useful too, so let's just knock it out."
There are hundreds of things we want to add. The ones that are lower priority, but get brought up by the community, can often get bumped up the list - especially if they are relatively simple but impactful.
That's why the feedback - big and small - is so important.
We're going to do this. Not sure when. We all want it!
Hello, is there any possibility of adding a toggle walk option please?
It's on our list of to-dos - not sure of timing just yet.
Solid patch for a lot of UI issues I've been having both in-game and in the menus. Having to press play at the top right was a bizarre choice, so I'm glad they're addressing that. Ammo and damage direction indicators are a game changer.
The changes to health and ammo UI are incremental. Hopefully they make things a little better without becoming detrimental in other ways. Let us know how they land.
"Removed character portrait from player’s minimap icon to better distinguish player icon; icon will receive additional color and polish in the future"
Does anyone know what this means? Are they removing our own portraits from the mini map to help find yourself on the minimap, or all portraits? I liked the portraits more than just colors like CSGO, or just blue colors like it was in valorant befoe the change
Just your portrait. Your teammates still have their portraits.
I didn't see anything about the ping spamming issue that drops FPS for the whole team. Hopefully this is something they fix, extremely easy to troll with it.
We mostly fixed it in 0.47+ but there was still a way to do it. 0.49+ closes that last loophole.
Removed character portrait from player’s minimap icon to better distinguish player icon; icon will receive additional color and polish in the future
Does this mean I won't be able to quickly look at the mini map and see where each agent is? Because right now it's very helpful to quickly glance up and be able to say, for example, "Saje, rotate."
We removed the portrait for your icon. Your teammates still have their character icons.
This was fixed in the patch but wasn't recorded in the notes, thats our bad. Cypher players can once again cage enemies without interaction issues. We'll update the notes.
Moo.
For all shotguns, moved the crosshair’s center dot by 1px to center it on the screen. The devs expect shotgun lethality to increase by 4,000% as a result
bucky + shorty confirmed best loadout
Confirmed.
Nice idea but I believe it should be on low priority. Also I think that this buy menu will not stand for long. For some reason it feels a little bit off to me. Maybe it's because it covers all your screen and there is not empty space for new guns or something. So maybe the next iteration of the buy menu will be so different your idea may not be usable at all.
We won't be adding new guns for a while, so the shop you see will be around for the foreseeable future (though we'll be adding some QoL stuff over time.) We like the current "all-up" layout because it presents all of your options up front, and makes mixing/matching guns, abilities, and armor a lot easier compared to other approaches.
In the meantime we'll look at ways to make broken armor more noticeable for folks who might be missing it.
The best part is when you finish a gunfight and then get one shot killed, because you had 6 hp left. The feedback is not he best here.
Upcoming patch has some incremental improvements with respect to damage feedback and health status. It's easy for these sorts of effects to slip into annoying/distracting territory, especially in a competitive game, so we'll keep tweaking until we find the best balance.
