right now the only way is to repeatedly ask the support for a email change. if you get lucky they will ask you for proof of purchase and some other information and then they let you change the e-mail. with the support times it could take months though.

You're not right. Email will not be changed without a good reason.
I'm with OP, being able to change email address is important.
If you have any problems, you can contact support and we will help you solve them.
Hello. As far as I can see you have no problem with the mail. Use complex unique passwords and two-factor authentication for your email, and your mailbox will be safe. So there is no reason to change email.

You don't need access to your old email. Contact your payment system (for example, the bank from whose card you paid) to receive a statement of the transaction.

I too lost one account due to not recieving email and support refused to help. But I learned from my mistake- I used hotmail account where microsoft has added bsg to blacklist, I brought next game to Gmail and 0 problems since.
Apparently, you were unable to provide proof of account ownership. Otherwise, access would have been returned without problems.

- If you have made any purchases for this account, please send the screenshot of the receipt of purchase. Please make sure the payment system interface and Xsolla transaction numbers are clearly visible.
