I apologise for the delay getting back to you and that you are unable to progress. Are you stuck in the same kind of loop shown on the video in this thread? If so, the player in that thread mentioned you can just do the mission without ever accepting the mission to get around it if you can find out where to go.

I'm sorry to hear they are still showing in your inventory. We haven't been getting other reports of this still happening, so I've forwarded a copy of your save file to the game team to look into this again. If they need any further information, we'll let you know.

I'm sorry to hear the game keeps launching like this for you and for the delayed reply to your thread.

I would suggest to make a backup of this file somewhere and then delete the file from the folder you found it in:

C:\Users\\Documents\Assassin's Creed Valhalla\ACValhalla.ini

Once you have deleted it, try relaunching the game now.

If it hasn't resolved it for you, you can try opening that file in notepad and you should be able to check if the resolution matches that of your monitor. You can make changes in this file and save them then try relaunching the game again. Deleting the file should always just generate a default file again when you launch the game.

This is usually caused if your Epic and Ubisoft account's are not the same region, so please check this first of all.

I looked up your support ticket to find out more information about the issue so I could find out what's going on with it. We haven't got any other information on this specific issue yet unfortunately but I have added a message on our report to the dev team to try and chase up how their investigation is going into this and if they need any additional information to help with it.

I apologise for the delayed reply first of all. I see there was an issue with the trophy before where it was unlocking from completing unrelated actions listed below (which should now be resolved):

  • Synchronising the first viewpoint after escaping from Kjotve's men
  • Killing a guard / enemy after doing the first viewpoint


I would guess you have already done both of these and the trophy hasn't unlocked since reporting this?

If so, can you just let us know when you lit all the Braziers? Was it the same day you reported this on here (5th Jan)?

I apologise for the delay getting back to you here. The first two issues you have mentioned have both been reported to the dev team already. Regarding the feedback on the anomoly jumping, if you have any suggestions on how to improve it, we will be happy forward these on to you.

Also, having multiple issues in 1 thread makes it hard to keep any discussions flowing and reading easily if players were to comment on them if there's lots of issues being discussed. I know that isn't the case here as there hasn't been any comments on it, but it's just to let you know for the future, it's best to have a thread for each individual issue so people can find the thread easily when searching to see if someone has already reported...

I'm sorry for the delayed reply here and to hear about your crashing issues whilst playing on your new laptop.

Generally if it's a driver issue, it usually affects most players using those drivers, but you are free to test reverting graphics drivers and giving it a go, as you can always just update them back if it didn't help. Previous graphic driver versions should be available to you on your graphics card manufacturer's website.

I see some issues were solved with that mission, but none of them were related to a crash with the mission. Would you be able to record a video clip of this happening and post a link so we can share it with the game team please? We can also forward on your save file if you have it uploaded to the cloud in-game.

I'm sorry to hear the quest isn't showing up for you. I couldn't find any special prerequisites that need to be completed in order to show up. Can you just confirm you definitely not completed it already or it hasn't shown since posting this, and you haven't got the "Man's Best Friend," which allows you to summon the wolf in battle?
