It can take up to 24 hours for purchases to go onto accounts, especially during busier periods.
If you have still not received it after this time, can you please contact us via Facebook PM or Twitter DM and include a fullscreen uncropped screenshot of your email receipt, as well as a screenshot showing the battlepass locked in game.

As this is an older game, it does not officially support PS5 controllers.

As part of the support team as opposed to being part of the dev team, I'd be unable to answer points A & B, but I can certainly pass this on to the dev team.
Can you confirm this happens each time you do this boss, or was it just an isolated incident?
