Hello Spitfire.gg, thank you for your post. Usually the Vulkan mode should increase the performance of the game and FPS range whereas the DirectX version is better for graphical fidelity.

Have you tried lowering some of your graphical settings in Vulkan mode to see if you are able to achieve an FPS gain? Can you also check that both versions of the game are fully updated?

Hello there eurichard, thank you for getting in contact with us.

This issue is known to us, did you try to make the purchase by testing this, with the Steam overlay enabled and disabled? Do you use a VPN by any chance that you can switch off when you make the purchase and does your Steam Store Country match your current location and IP address as well as the currency you are using?

If you have checked all of these options, it may be you have tried to make too many purchases in a short space of time, this may put a block on you purchasing any in game items from Steam for the next 24 hours.

I am sorry to see you may have been affected by DDOS whilst playing Siege, please send us this information privately instead if you can.

We are working on ways to tackle DDoS and encourage players to report this to us through our social media pages and Ubisoft Support website. to help us locate these types of players. so we can permanently ban them from the game.

Hi Red_trainer57, thanks for letting us know this. Did you purchase the game from Steam or Ubisoft Connect or Epic?

We have had reports of this since the latest Y6S1 update, in most cases verifying the game files resolved the issue for most players.

If there are any missing files, or corrupted files, verifying them should fix them and let you know how many were repaired.

Have you been able to test out our middle eastern servers on the Test Server version of Siege, as players noticed good improvements to ping and connection?

If you would like to see this servers become a permanent thing in the main game, please be sure to post in our Feedback section of the forum too

For any issues related to permanent bans, we ask players to contact us through our support channels privately, where we can verify your account, as we can not do this over our Forums.

You may be able to appeal your permanent ban, but please make sure to submit as much information as you can, as you can only have the opportunity to appeal this ban once.

We do not have to go into further details of your ban, other than to investigate the case has been handled correctly and what you were banned for.

Unable to move / Keyboard and mouse changed to controller

Hello everyone!
I have noticed an increase of reports regarding being unable to move, due to your key bindings expecting the use of a controller.
An investigation is ongoing. In the meantime, the following steps should help -


1. Connect then disconnect a controller (if you have one available)

- Quit the game
- Plug in a controller
- Launch the game
- Navigate through the in-game menus
- Unplug / disconnect the controller
- Play a match and your M+KB should now work

This has helped some players however we don't yet have confirmation whether this fixes the issue, or if you will need to do this every time you play.

My second suggestion is to create a new save / profile. This will reset your in-game settings which should resolve your issue, however please note it will also reset your Situations progress & loado... Read more

Kicked by BattlEye - "Corrupt Memory #0"

We have started to receive some reports of being kicked by BattlEye with the error "Corrupt Memory #0".

Our Rainbow Six Siege team have been informed and we'll see what we can do. In the meantime, this information should help -

1. Some players have reported that installing the latest Windows Updates resolved their issue

2. There seems to be a conflict currently between BattlEye and MSI Dragon Center, and players have reported their issue was resolved after uninstalling this software. If you don't want to uninstall this software, you could try temporarily disabling it to see if that helps.
