Hello a55p2, thank you for getting back to us, I appreciate that extra information, we will keep investigating to see if this will improve for most of our players in a future patch, at the moment the Anno team are aware of this issue but we have no further updates or resolutions at this time.

For anyone else experiencing FPS frops since a recent update, we would like to know the following -

- What driver update are you using?
- When did you first notice this affect your FPS?

Hello everyone, thank you for bringing this issue to our attention again, after some of you have contacted us about this in the last 4 weeks.

We previously have had investigations opened into different DirectX error messages, to help us identify which issue it is, that everyone is experiencing specifically, could you please answer the following questions if affected by this currently -

1. When did you notice these crashes happen to you in game, most recently?

2. Are you playing a multiplayer or previous multiplayer save file?

3.Which version of DirectX are you using, have you tested both and which version suffers the most crashes?

4. What are you doing in the game when it crashes?

5.What is the exact message that appears for you? A screenshot would also be helpful.

Hello mowhi, thank you for the update. So you believe this could be caused by the games update rather than your settings.

What type of game modes has this affected you on and how long ago did you notice this happening? (A specific date would be ideal!)

Can you confirm if this only happens in the first match and then the following matches you are able to voice chat and see the icon on the scoreboard and in-game?

We have made a new investigation into this recently with our QA team, which is why I ask the above specific questions.

- In addition to what has already been advised, I believe restoring your licences could resolve this issue on PS4, if you haven't already tried this option -
Got to Settings > Account Management > Restore Licences on PlayStation menu.

- Did you purchase the game as the physical edition or digital edition? If physical, what region code is the disc and what region code is your PlayStation?

Could you please try the following remaining troubleshooting steps, to help resolve this type of issue -

1. Please find the BattlEye .exe file in your Siege installation folder and make sure the .exe software is up to date by trying to launch it. Alternatively the file may be found here -

I believe I forwarded your videos to our investigation into this in the post you made on our Audio issues pinned thread previously, if I remember correctly.

Please be assured our QA teams are still investigating a fix for Xbox users, but we have no news of a resolution yet which is why we have been unable to update anyone on the situation. We can only confirm that this is being looked into as one of our main concerns. Thank you for your patience.

I know this is an option in PC but I don't believe this option made it onto console.

Hello again XxPorkbellyxX thank you for those images, they are very helpful.

Generally when a player has performance issues in game, we ask the player to lower their graphical settings as usually their is a give and take between performance and graphics and players usually prefer performance or the other when needing to choose between the two. For this reason we would recommend lowering your graphical settings and playing Vulkan mode instead which also prefers performance over graphical fidelity.

Hey Nezuonsticks, thank you for posting.

The CD key does not exist if you have purchased the game from Steam, Epic or Ubisoft Connect directly. The game is automatically pushed to your account without the need for a key.

You will need to make sure your Ubisoft account Nezuonsticks is attached to whichever platform you purchased the game from be it Epic or Steam in order to be able to launch the game.

Have you been able to set up port forwarding to strengthen your connection to the router as explained in the guide?

Alternatively, if you can temporarily connect your console to a mobile hotspot such as your mobile data (if you have unlimited) and test the connection, this will tell us if the issue lies with your router or or server if you can play without issue using mobile data.

We are aware of the high ping affecting some of our players playing on the middle eastern servers at the moment, that did not appear in the Test Version.

We have an ongoing investigation into this at the moment and are gathering information from players affected and ISP that are used. We will forward your details onto the QA team to look into. Hello aleksandronix, thank you for getting back to us.

One of the reasons we ask to disable all background apps, is to prevent any extra strain on your computer and memory leakage when running the game side by side. This can happen if you are someone who uses the alt and tab buttons a lot to swap between running programs that are open.

In this case we recommend disabling these programs. The following types of software can also cause unknown behaviour and interfere with some of our games controls too -
