Hello davidcat3, thanks for posting in the forums about this.

What type of setup do you have as in do you use headphones or a mic combination and if so which brand?

I have quite a few troubleshooting steps you can try to fix issues like this, Siege had been known to switch around configuration of your sound output at times in the game.

Are you using Windows 10 with the game and do you have any other sound devices or usb devices that may be confusing the games input and output audio?

Oh yeah I just noticed! Nice one Milkee.

If you are playing through University Internet you may have what is called double Nat which means the internet signal and packets of data, have to travel through two routers before they can get to your PC which can cause issues with connectivity and Ping as the data takes a longer time to reach you, this can also cause connection issues because of the permissions needed and security to pass through two routers. This may be the case for you as this tends to effect players in shared accommodation with shared internet or players in public places like internet cafes.

Which region are you currently in and do you know what regional server you are connected to?

This error code usually means shows a message that a connection has been lost. For this and any other error codes you are experiencing I would recommend following our troubleshooting guide as well as setting up port forwarding by logging into your router and changing its settings.

You should be able to change this setting permanently in the properties settings for the game within your launcher.

Which launcher did you purchase the game on, Steam or Ubisoft Connect?

No problem br0x4h you are very welcome! I was surprised by this too, the first time I purchased Siege.

I'll leave this here in case any other players have the same questions about which operators you get with each version of the game.

Year 5 Editions of the game -

STANDARD - Just the base game, Legacy Operators and Year Operators need to be unlocked separately with in-game currency/renown

There is nothing in our rules to say that this is cheating or trolling players, so feel free to go ahead. You may have seen players complain that this software banned them from the game after BattlEye reported them, but these complaints are unfounded and incorrect. BattlEye and our other cheat detection software is programmed detect cheating software players use for wall hacking and aim botting, not voice moderation.

Ah okay no problem thanks for letting me know.

With the Standard edition of the Year 5 game you will only get the base game, Legacy Operators and other operators will still need to be unlocked separately with renown.

If you played the trial version on the same Ubisoft account, your progress should carry over which is why you have two operators unlocked now.

We would usually ask you to wait 24 hours for your Operators to appear in your account after buying a new game or different edition

Which version of the game did you buy just to clarify? Standard, Deluxe, Gold, Ultimate etc?

The verify game files trick can be done in both Ubisoft Connect and Steam. It corrects and game files that may be corrupted or missing from the game causing various issues.

No worried Shaz,

I've looked at your model of laptop and its is rather impressive, its a bit of a beast in fact, so you shouldn't have any trouble running the game and should be able to run it on higher graphical settings too

The Situations mode and Training Grounds mode are great ways to learn the game before you play online with other players, I enjoyed trying to get three stars on each situation when I first started playing too. Have fun!

Hello shazstjohn, welcome to the forums!

220mbps download speed ethernet and 119mbs wireless sounds ideal for playing online multiplayer, however this also depends on your ping speed and proximity to our Siege servers.

At the moment our current server locations for Siege are -
- east us, central us, southcentral us, west us, brazil south
- north europe, west europe
- south africa north
- east asia, south east asia, japan west
- australia east, australia south east

So make sure you get connected to the nearest one to your location when you are playing and you should be good to go!

If you are going to be playing on a laptop, its best to check your laptops specs against the minimum system specs for the game. These system specs will be for desktop PCs but modern day laptops often have similarly named laptop versions of Graphics Cards etc

Hello ieatmother, thanks for reaching out to us and welcome to the forums.

Have you just purchased the game or have you owned the game for a while and this has just started happening?

First thing I would try would be to open Task Manager and view your performance tab when launching the game, what percentage is your CPU and memory?

Try verifying your games files first, this will correct and missing or corrupted game files that may stop the game from launching correctly.

Hey SLabonville, sorry for the delayed reply, there was a delay in purchased games being pushed to players accounts which was taking longer than the usual 24 hours.

Hey BlackPseud0nym, thanks for posting and welcome to the forums.

I've checked your account and can see you own the base copy of the PC game, I've added the Test Server to your account, please try logging out of the Ubisoft Connect launcher then back in and see if it allows you to download it from the Games Library.

If anyone else is missing the Test Server for Rainbow SIx Siege and you have the base PC game, please try logging out and back into the launcher and checking the Games Library. If the Test Server still doesn't appear for you, comment below and we will try our best to add it to players accounts! Thank you!
