Hello robains, sorry to see you are having trouble with these crashes whilst running DirectX12.

I can see from your case files they wanted to confirm what troubleshooting steps you had tried and also asked for an updated msinfo. I could not see any programs that might be affecting this on your old msinfo but would you be able to upload a new msinfo to the case? If you can do that and let us know we can escalate the case for you after confirming you have tried the basic troubleshooting steps too.

It will also be worth uploading your most recent log file to the case too - C:\Documents\Anno 1800\log

A case will automatically close if we don't hear back from a player within 4 days, but you can reopen it at anytime by posting in the case again a new message.

DutchDread, would you be able to confirm if the water pump issue is now fixed for you after the update 9.1?
Please let us know if you are still having this issue after updating the game.

Hey SirHarryPierce and Brumiros, thanks for coming back to us and letting us know this doesn't work for you.

I have reached out to the Anno team to ask if this is intended behaviour of the multi upgrade shortcut function or if this is a bug since the update. I will update you as soon as I hear back, thanks for bringing this to our attention as always

Thank you frasoucos for the update, we will pass this information on to the team investigating this.

As Brumiros asked, might you be using mods with the game as it can affect quest progression and cause unwanted behaviour in the game. The Anno team advise disabling any mods you may have active when updating the game to the latest update. Can you confirm if this is the case for you?

Hello Angry_CJ, welcome to the Anno 1800 forums.

It may well be that your mods could be affecting this quest as I have yet to hear any other player mention any issue with it. To quote the Anno 1800 team -

If you install mods then you are changing the official game files, keep in mind that we won’t be able to provide any official technical support for your game. Changing the files of your game can create bugs, cause instability of the game client or even damage your save file. This means that if anything goes wrong after applying a mod (like black screens or game crashes) the Ubisoft support team will not be able to help you until you reset all the changes.

Hello Humility925, thanks for posting in the forums about this issue with the new Land of Lions Update.

Is it possible you could link us to a video of this in case any other players are experiencing the exact same in the same area with the 'Banquet of Implications' so that we may report this to the team?

What quest did you take on prior to completing this one? Did you start a new campaign or did you integrate the Land of the Lions DLC into a current campaign of yours?

Hey vandalism37, just a quick update!

The Anno team got back to me and confirmed this is working as it should be. The NPCs will start the expedition at the same time you as you do, but they take quite a while to get to that area, so if you start that expedition, but then leave it aside for 3-4 hours or longer, the NPCs will start are arriving before you.Hope this helps!

At the moment I am unable to say if this is intended behaviour by the AI or not so I have reached out to the Anno 1800 team directly to ask this very question and to understand if there is any milestone you have passed that may enable this behaviour by the AI. I will do my best to update you when I hear back from the team.

Hi Simsler.GKBears, sorry to hear you were unable to get the 'GG Team' challenge.

Would you be able to somehow show us your in game stats that would prove you have gotten to the last 15 in squad mode recently or is this not possible?

Can you also tell us what the reward was for this particular timed challenge?

If we can get proof of your recent stats or check your account, we may be able to add the reward to you and your friends account after the fact.

Hello Dionne87, thanks for coming back to us and posting those screenshots.

I would suggest if you have any background applications open like other game launchers, RGB controllers are any other programs to disable them from running in the background in case your shortcut keys could be used by another program.

Hey everyone,

If you are still experiencing issues with DirectX12 crashes, could you please make sure Windows has updated your DirectX12 API as sometimes Windows will not update your DirectX versions automatically.

To do this try go to -

Windows Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates.

If the update is ready for your PC, you'll see a 'Feature update to Windows 10, version 2004' message appear under Optional Updates. You can then begin downloading by clicking 'Download and install now. You can check which version of DirectX you have by running a dxdiag as well.

Hello everyone, sorry to see so many of you have not received your rewards in game yet.

This is still being investigated for Anno 1800 as we managed to resolve this issue for some of our other games that had the same problem.

Just to clarify -
- For some the rewards appear locked and do not have a green tick
- For others the rewards appear unlocked, but are not accessible in game

I would like to add a screenshot to our investigation if anyone could provide one?
