The chicken dance has been a... long discussed topic, for sure. Since it is a manipulation of the movement system, it would be difficult to completely remove it without fundamentally changing how movement works for all aspects of the game. That said, I understand that it can be extremely frustrating to face off against. How have you guys been dealing with it when you do see it, out of curiosity? Any advice for those who find themselves up against a chicken dancer?

Flame enemies are the ones that get me the most. I get too greedy and go for the kill but get the fire-damage payback.

Similar to the recent feature of a post-mission performance readout, there definitely can be some nuanced reasons that information can be misused. While it's important to keep those points in mind, more information often leads to more positives than negatives. Though I really appreciate the conversation and feedback here.

Could you perhaps elaborate on how this kind of feature impacts your moment to moment PvP gameplay? I can follow the more high-concept points you're making, but I'd love to hear soem of the nitty-gritty.

Hey MC1_Judge, try turning off DX12 and restarting the game, as I know that has caused similar crashing issues for no shortage of players. If the problem persists, please contact Ubisoft Support and they'll do their best to help you figure out a solution.

Also keep in mind that swapping it to AR might make that brand set even less viable for non-Survivalist players. How do you feel it might impact the game and meta to have a build option 50%-60% optimal for two Specializations, rather than one perfectly optimized for one Specialization to the exclusion of the others?

Closing this thread as it has gotten a little bit out of hand. A State of the Game from two days ago discussed a major title update coming next week, and there are future updates planned beyond that. The games are developed by different studios and will be different games published and supported by Ubisoft. Please avoid making threads like this in the future as they only make it harder to follow the constructive conversations happening on the forums.

It's important to keep in mind that while your build and playstyle might struggle with some objective/mission formats, it likely excels at others where some players might struggle. The variety of minor and major goals can keep activities interesting and challenging - even if perhaps sometimes too challenging - for everyone.

As a counter to the satellite time-trial, what is a format that your build is better/best suited for?

I've always ever used the pistols as a last ditch alternative for reloading to save myself. It's really interesting to see conversations around 'pistol builds.'

Just a reminder everyone, the forums are not the place to insult, mock, or berate other players or their experience with the game. Please keep the thread and conversation respectful, and read others' posts with the same charity you would want yours to be read with.

As for the skepticism around my and other Community Rep's posts, the questions we ask are deliberately more personal-experience-focused. We're curious about (among other how each of you are playing the game, and from your individual stories we are able to better parse together the underlying issues that may require sweeping or incredibly precise changes. I've said this several times now in various discussions but everyone involved with this game and involved on the forums wants to see the game do well and be as great - and as fun - as it can be.

If you want to read about some of the recent changes that have been happening in the public test server as of late, they can be seen ... Read more

I run with Healing Chem and Either Assault or Flame Turret based on how well I know the enemy spawns in a mission. Really appreciate this thread and the detailed answers/rationale everyone is giving. Keep it up.

Please let us know how it is once you get your burn build to a good spot. I'm a huge fan of the Flame Turret so I might be hot on your heels, pun intended.

Just gotta stay aware of enemy placement and spawns to maximize turret output.

Definitely an outlier as far as suggestions go... I've always looked at it as a kind of short hand for expected power / ease of content.

How has the chase for gear score impacted you personally? Has it obfuscated your build progression or given its own sense of climbing the ladder?

Thank you guys for the feedback on this. It seems like this hiccup is occurring on all/most Commendations based on what I'm seeing here, correct?

When discussing game difficulty please be respectful to your fellow posters and refrain from useless, vacuous responses. Share your own experience, some friendly advice, or engage in good-faith discourse, please.

To the OP, can you describe the particular instances where the rushing enemies are particularly dangerous? Specific details can usually yield greater insight into the trouble.

I've been seeing both the feedback and the counterpoints on the enemy drone-attacks quite a bit lately. Out of curiosity, what kind of encounters are you running into where these enemies pose the greatest threat? What are the specific situations where they are particularly dangerous?

But I appreciate the feedback here, everyone. This is a topic I see pop up every once in a while and I have made a note of it for sure.

There's a fine line between "a lot of work," and "a tedious grind." A line so fine that depending on who you ask it can go either way. How might this type of content impact players, including those who enjoy the game and the challenge but simply don't have as much time to play?

By quantity alone there is a staggering amount of feedback - oftentimes contradictory once more people are talking about the same subject. However seeing people talk about about topics, how they engage with the game, observing their experiences, etc. can give us extremely valuable insight into changes in the game's future.

It's just RNG being RNG. That said, RNG is a fickle beast. I wish you the best of luck.
