Hello yukamagic17! I'm truly sorry to hear about your negative experience with Rainbow Six Siege as of late. I completely understand how frustrating it can be to encounter the issues you mentioned, so I deeply apologize for that inconvenience. B1G_A1AN: Thank you so much for elaborating further for us! I understand what you mean when saying it's easy for people to return and continue abusing this issue after a short temporary sanction is over. To provide some insight, in a past season the team actually introduced longer abandonment penalties that greatly increased over time. However, this ultimately negatively affected players who may have inadvertently been disconnected from the game due to internet conflicts, etc. I wanted to bring this up to show that the team has considered the thoughts you shared, but it is also important to them that we don't discourage innocent players from getting into the game.

Nonetheless, I can certainly share your comments with the relevant team. I would also be glad to gather some additional information to ensure this gets reported! Hello Beasteed and ascenxd! I'm sorry to hear about this frustrating ordeal you both encountered in Rainbow Six Siege. Please keep in mind that Support is not able to adjust rank or restore lost ranked points, but I'd be happy to get this reported for you. After each match, did you see a message saying, "Please wait, synchronizing data" or something similar?

Just to clarify, did some players from the opposing team leave then join back? I understand that you lost more ELO than normal, I am just wanting to confirm whether anyone left and/or rejoined before forwarding this report!

guest-u1mOqkjR: I'm sorry to hear about this! When your game was crashing and freezing, did you exit out of the match completely before joining back during the final round?

Hi xiDuxc! Any time that a player disconnects from a match, even inadvertently, they receive a temporary ban along with a renown/rank penalty. Since this system is controlled automatically in-game and not by Support, we are not able to adjust rank, restore lost ranked points, or revert penalties of any kind. More details can be found here. Hi PandaMcBoss109! I'm sorry to hear that you've been running into this problem when playing Rainbow Six Siege. It sounds incredibly exhausting to deal with, so I apologize for the inconvenience. Moving forward, I would first suggest clearing your Xbox's cache. Although you've reinstalled the game itself, clearing your console's cache would be a great step to try due to the amount of data it can hold. To do this, unplug your Xbox from the wall, wait at least two minutes, then plug it back in and restart your game.

If that doesn't help, would you be able to grab a video exhibiting this bug? A similar issue has been reported to the team, and having a video will allow me to determine if it is the same one. This evidence is also very helpful for the team to have when investigating bugs and glitches!
