Not yet implemented, though there are some hard ones. But we are going to be adding more “Uber boss” style content.

Merchant guild. I love that they provide bonuses for anyone who wants to stay more SSF, but at the end of the day there's absolutely nothing like the opportunity to sell an item that's extremely rare and OP but for somebody else.

The downside is uniques with LP can't be traded, but that's still relatively fair.

To clarify, at higher ranks of MG you will be able to trade uniques with LP. In the example, the ability to trade uniques without LP is unlocked at Rank 4 specifically.

All I’ll say is that Last Epoch is a live service game centered around time travel with many years of future developments ahead of us. We’re not tapped out of content ideas at 0.9!

A few things here.

  1. This is all going to be massively updated after 0.9, so don't look into this too heavily or get used to what you're seeing. The beginning of the game is going to receive a significant overhaul.
  2. One of the goals of some of the graphical updates is going to be making it so that the environment play area competes less visually with the battle field action that you need to pay attention to
  3. This update spawns from dabbling with new tech that we have and wanting to experiement with it in an environment that will be overhauled
  4. That particular part of this zone looks a bit worse than most areas of the same zone and other zones that have been altered

We're continuing to improve it. I play mostly with gamepad but I'll swap to KB/M for text or if I want to navigate the inventory faster. I actually have terrible RSI from playing ARPGs non-stop for 20 years so it's important to me that we get gamepad support in great shape before 1.0, and we're pretty close with 0.9 coming up.

Do your wrist stretches, KB/M Travelers!

The last we talked on this we were leaning towards adding a CoF or MG tag to the user within the same leaderboard. Subject to change though

Comment

CoF will certainly be a powerful and enjoyable way to play… but buzzing around different Bazaar stalls in a group of online players is something that I haven’t seen before and think wlll feel quite magical . Leaning #teamMG myself!

There’s a healthy amount of people in the studio leaning to both sides though!

We’ll be posting our updated plans for trade tomorrow morning at 11am CST. We hope you like them.

Confirming this. Thanks for giving a helpful answer Mand!

We have a lot of improvements coming to client side performance in 0.9 releasing March 9. I do suspect you’ll immediately notice the difference.

We are! Lots of good server-data coming in and bugs that we can act on. We'll have to ship 0.9 with some minor bugs but the hotfix cycle will last longer than usual.

Appreciate you joining and helping out. Cheers.

We have this tracked as an issue with a fix in the MP builds. Enjoy skating for just a little longer and then we're taking it away from ya!!

Haha, hope you're enjoying the MP event.

Hello everyone,

Today we’re excited to unveil our redesigned studio logo.

As some of you may know, Eleventh Hour Games was born of a deep passion for top-down loot-based ARPGs and started by forming a team of like-minded ARPG enthusiasts via Reddit. Our small unfunded team spent every night after our other 9-5 day jobs preparing the groundwork for what would come to be the game that you all know today.

Working at the eleventh hour and pulling off needed accomplishments during critical moments was how we went from a team of around ten enthusiasts to launching a successful Kickstarter. Those achievements paved the way to further successes that enabled us to grow and create an ARPG that can now compete with titles from studios that are much larger in size. Eleventh Hour Games as a name was enshrined to remind us of how a group of passionate enthusiasts came together creating a studio that now spans the globe as we work on Last Epoch remotely.

When you connect to the game, you will have the option to play offline or online. Online will have access to multiplayer online features. The plan is to be able to optionally play offline while logged in and have limited access to online services, similar to how 0.8.5f works now. The offline flow and features is still not finalized and might change between 0.9 and 1.0.

This is correct. It's worth noting that online characters must be played online and offline characters cannot cross over so that we can prevent client-side hacks on the online environment.

Thanks for the helpful responses to FoodLord's question, everyone.

I’m nearly certain that that isn’t intentional. I’ll bring it up with the design team.

Thanks for taking the time to feedback with your experience Schmoeticus. We are spending a lot of time reading all the trade responses across all of our mediums at the moment and it’s always nice to come across ones that note players specific scenarios and how they felt in that journey when playing. We’re trying to use our two ears and not our one mouth right now so I won’t feed back directly on the guild-like ideas but just wanted to say that your feedback is appreciated and being assessed. Hopefully we can make LE the ARPG that you and your friends are excited to come back to over and over again. Cheers
