Since the OP is asking about modding the game, I’ll move this to the Modding sub-forum. Though restrictions on who can join your server could also be part of the solution.

Project zomboid has bed sheet rope, thanks for the feedback

There are also ropes you can climb in some POIs. Unfortunately they aren’t craftable.

This.
We should be able to rotate them sideways to see the text. It's make me completely change the way I do storage.

No, there’s no benefit. And you can’t boil multiple waters in parallel within one campfire, no matter how you configure it. A campfire cooks one thing at a time, in sequence, like other stations.

I don't really think you can argue against someone wanting a change like this as just an option. If you feel like it would cause your team to fly through the progression too quickly like I do then you just don't enable it for your team.

I like dividing up the jobs so that everyone has their own mags to read and everyone is in charge of crafting different things for everyone. I don't understand why any team would just have one person do all the crafting. We play as a real team meaning we divide up all the labor and share with each other. It feels very rewarding and different than single player where you just read every magazine you find. This option would make multiplayer less "cooperative" and make it feel more like the single player game where you learn all the recipes yourself and just make everything you want yourself not relying on anyone else.

But....I definitely don't see the harm in having the option. Might be fun to try it for a short playthrough since m... Read more

For my long term game I opted for a linear biome layout, with pine forest at one end of the map and wasteland at the other. That puts desert in the middle, and I built my most extensive base there, at the end of a major downtown street. The location is optimal on multiple layers, and with its clear skies I don’t think the desert is an ugly biome at all. We spent a long time there, until our gamestage caught up to where it made sense to make a base in the wasteland.

No. The Series-S is barely capable of supporting the game. No way the old consoles can. They could barely play the version TellTale released.

The game is designed for Solo or 8-player co-op with friends.

It is not designed for 30+ pop servers like games similar to Ark or Conan.

Which is why you see most of those dedicated servers empty. The majority of players are playing in private groups with friends.

Try reading the Patch Notes

Also note that it isn't wholly TFP holding it back. It's due to console limitations that still need to be addressed and approved by Sony and Microsoft. TFP figured that focusing on getting basi... Read more

Playing with a lot of people coming and going, on a server that's left running forever, 24/7... you're describing a dedicated server. That's exactly what they're for, and anyone (with good hardware) can run one. It seems to me you're describing a solution in want of a problem, OP.

Yeah, the demolisher is the purpose-built 'bunker buster' zombie. Its armor and weak points could be rearranged, but it already fills the operational role you describe, OP.

So could you update the specs? Things overheat for no reason , use too much power , and still stutter
If your 1060 is only the 3GB version, and you don't have 16GB RAM, you will have issues.

Unfortunately, you did not provide any real system specs outside of listing a low-end budget laptop CPU.

I've been saying the specs need to be more specific for years.

Here is my suggestion.[community.7daystodie.com]
And even that needs to be updated, as the game client is now 19.3GB
