Scrapping time is purely a function of material return. It's something like 0.5-1.0 seconds of scrapping time per material returned. Brass items in particular have a HUGE return since they're basically the only way to get brass in the game.

So where you might get, say, 50 Iron back from scrapping an iron sledgehammer and it takes 25 seconds, when scrapping a brass radiator you get back say 500 brass, And so it takes a monumental 250 seconds to scrap. (Example numbers)

But on a per-material-gained basis, the scrap time is actually identical among all scrappable objects/materials. It's just how much material you get that changes how long it takes to scrap.

We'll get right on it. Number one priority. I don't know how game breaking bug got past the team.

The save is stored locally on the computer. It's too big for cloud saves.

Or anywhere between the two.

7DTD is pretty open on how you play the game and rarely forces you to pigeon hole into one play-style. If you're presented with an option you dislike, most of the time it can be ignored.

Only thing I wish would come back is the smell mechanic.

Well yes, but then, yo... Read more

Mods are an uncommon way to look for better performance, since they mostly add things to the game. However, I’ve heard of mods that reduce the amount of grass and trees in order to improve performance. I don’t have a link, sorry. If you want to do it yourself, you’d modify biomes.xml.

Moving to Off Topic since this seems to not be a game-related topic.

Based is complimentary: a word used when you agree with something, aka the opposite of cringe. And I'm totally young and trendy and didn't look that up on Urban Dictionary, you guys!

I don't know what Lathan is testing, but the next version will be 19.6.

1 That would be 19.6

2 Twitch and localization changes

3 Should be a normal release

4 No AI behavior changes in A20

I don't know of anyone using it and I could see it going away at some point.

I can have a workbench within the first few hours and all the ammo I need after that, but okay.

If you listen to some people, INT is an absolutely worthless stat because you CAN get every recipe without it, and can't even craft top tier gear anyway..

But the answer to your question is 'Yes'. It is perfectly feasible to play and succeed at the game without ever touching INT. It's actually totally feasible to play and succeed by focusing entirely on only one stat tree, even; You don't have to put points in anything except your chosen stat if you don't want to.

But choosing just one tree or refusing to use one specific tree does have it's downsides that you'll have to adjust your playstyle to account for; But that should be expected. In the case of forgoing INT, You're relying on RNG to feed you the things you want, and RNG can be a fickle mistress.

For example it might take you much longer to get vehicles than it would if you went INT; You may never find the recipe for it. Or you may find them at the trader on day 1 and maybe be able to spring the d... Read more

Maybe I’m misunderstanding, but there are no hubs. Hub cities are gone since... Alpha 15 or thereabouts? Any remaining reference to them should be deprecated.
