RWG code changes are maybe 75% done, but there is a lot of designer content being worked on that goes with those changes.

Repeatable is helpful, but please refer to the pinned thread in the Support & Bug Reports sub-forum on how to report an issue in a way that people can help.

This is probably an issue with occlusion. You can try turning it off in the video settings.

Then the question is why is there only like 1 building? THeres all these buildings on these maps and the devs ...

Quest location selection is based on proximity to the trader; If Water Works is the only T4 quest location within range of the trader you're at, You're only going to get T4 quests at that water works.

If you want a different quest location, visit a different trader and accept quests from there instead.

It would be nice is people also realised that 8 years isn't a terribly long development time when you're building something from scratch. Early Access has allowed you to be able to play it since almost day 1. Rather than not even hearing about the game until after it's already in it's 6th or 7th year of development when the company feels the beta is close enough to give a release date.

The only reason it's... Read more

By now, every single other studio would have at least given an end-game goal. Content that requires all your skills, and cunning.
Still, after all these years, we just have... Hoard Night. The main story keeps getting pushed back, along with any sort of hardcore POIs (large buildings with some zombs doesnt count). What we get, instead, is pipe weapons nobody asked for.

You could argue that they needn't get ahead of themselves, and discover what the core game should be, before implementing something like that.... Well... IT'S BEEN NEARLY 8 YEARS!!!! Figure it TF out!
Well, you don't put the story in before the components of ... Read more

Then we need to stop telling people to find clothing when starting a new game to help try to ward against zombie bites. Armor only for that.

Was anyone saying that? Is that advice in the game? Serious question. If so, it can be fixed if you say where.

I could totally see this happening in Wasteland. Not burnt.
If you were attacked with horde-level zeds though, then it was likely a screamer horde from having a high heatmap. Can totally to that on day 1 with torches.

Yeah, known fix for horrible performance on the older AMD chipsets that can't handle multithreading properly. May have a similar effect on 10th and 11th gen Intel chipsets for similar reasons. Locking it down to 2-4 physical cores is beneficial on those chipsets because the architecture doesn't support proper multithreading.

If you have a Gen 3 or Gen 4 Ryzen, Or a gen 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9 Intel, this isn't an issue.

The random world generation algorithm hasn’t changed in recent releases. Are you using a third party map generator like NitroGen or KingGen? Are you playing with extra POIs like CompoPack? Or are you 100% vanilla?

I don't know... I've lost count of the number of times I've walked right up to a false breakaway door, bashed it open, and startled the zombie that's on the other side, facing me, that was supposed to break out of it to startle me. So I could believe the screenshot is possible in vanilla. Like aY227 alludes, there can be a problem with the individual sleeper volume controlling the sleeper zombie's senses, instead of a systemic problem. But one thing's for sure: the game tries really, really hard to not activate a sleeper zombie early.
