Good morning and thanks for the input on this.
Are you playing single player or online?

That wouldn’t be a good idea at all. You want a new build out as soon as you can, to have leeway in case something needs to be hotfixed or adjusted. You want time to be able to react. Releasing a patch on the day of an event that might bring in new players is very risky. So no, that’s absolutely not a reason. If anything, It would be counter productive.

@WhatMightHaveBeen actually used the analogy I was going to use as well.

Our developers have been working on different aspects and codes of the game. For example one or several coders are very competent with the climbing system while another devoper or several are very familiar with the building system. While all of them are coders/programmers that doesn’t mean they are all equally efficient to solve a specific problem. Generally the programmer(s) who have coded the mechanic in the first place are also the ones looking at issues with said code.

I hope that helps explanation wise

Cloaks should be distributed now for all accounts that made it into the top 10 of each Overall Leaderboard category, excluding alcohol consumed and Guild PvP kills. Please check your claims for your reward. If you believe you should have gotten a cloak and have not found it in your /claims, please message me.

Not sure but certainly not us
Since, as explained before, the fix for building issues is done by one group while another group of developers is working on additional fixes and content for a different build.

I am truly sorry if that feels that way, that is in no way intended. We definitely do not want to have one group feel that we appreciate them less than another. We know that our community has players with totally different background and focus and we definitely try to make sure we do something for everyone.

Would you believe me if I told you I was asked about your question by a support guy this very morning?
I gave him the name of the person to contact in the UI team who worked on this particular UI, to see if that was just something we could easily add or not.

Basically the question is to know if the underlying code already accepts host names or if only supports IPV4 format. If the background code supports host names, it’s just a matter of fixing the UI’s “filter”, else that would require some actual code change.

tldr, th...

Hey everybody!

We have a new patch on our Testlive branch with some new balancing passes on some weapons and fixes to some exploits and general bugs.

The event log should also stop naming players, and the Fragments of Power now have an extra use to make them even more appealing.

We have also added new facial animations when talking over VoiP. Check them out!

We would like to thank everyone in our community for your continued feedback and support, as many of these fixes stem directly from your input. Please help us by trying out these new changes and fixes and sharing your feedback with us.

Exploit Fixes
  • Fixed an exploit pertaining to infinite stamina for sprinting
  • Fixed an issue where players were able to instantly kill other players by jumping on them #stoptheplumber.
  • Fixed an exploit where it was possible to deal damage to players and buildings outside of PVP-enabled situations....

No, I don’t think our community is stupid, quite the contrary and I think you don’t understand the statement above and I am more than happy to explain:

The live patch has been stable but there has been a big issue with the buildin...

Here you go, quoted from right above. Instead of giving you estimates from the team which I got in the past, I mentioned that we will let you guys know once it’s ready. Also, I never once mentioned that patch was 100% ready as you claim. All communication was pretty clear about us having to fix an issue with the building mechanics.

Hey @solarious

Was that single player or online?
Does it happen reliably?

Hey there!

Thank you @Jim1 for bringing this issue to our attention and @SirBowen for your usual scarily accurate feedback. We’re sending this to our team and they’ll put these sneaky priests into their places.

Thanks, we definitely will let them know :)

Edit: Just a thought: When we were able to build flying bases on trees, everyone was upset about that exploit. A tree flying base however is not nearly as overpowered as a pillar base since pillars can be significantly higher and you can prevent climbing in an equal matter. Why would you prioritise fixing the first but leaving the pillar base without counter in the game?

Our team is aware of this behavior and they're looking into ways of limiting it, but we have nothing more concrete to share about it at this moment. :)

Thank you for replying, honestly i didn't think you would do that. I quess they really hire new members, because before that most of the important questions were simply ignored.

That's fixed on Testlive

So, now it will be consistent, and will be able to target any bases, even lollypop ones? Will it appear only when players are online? Because before it was not hard to deal with and served only to annoy people who was offline during purge and got their bases destroyed just because they can't play whole day.

That is also improved on Testlive

I hope so. But in case if you serious about it, i decided to bring some proof (because obviously some people think that i just imagine all the bugs) - here is the easy one, i took time and recorded a small video 10 minutes ago, in fresh build of the game: https://drive.google.com...

It should. :)

Will it appear only when players are online?

That would depend on server settings.

This is one of the many common bugs related to "you should be able to place piece but you can't"

Some of these instances should be addressed in the current Testlive build. If you want you can check them out now or wait until they come to live. If there are still issues with building QoL please let us know via our usual communication channels 😊

Ok, that's something i missed in patch notes. Sadly, have no time to level up and test stuff on testlive (and actually i have levelup process, why can't we just have all on test servers?), but since live patch will be released next week, i quess we will see if the amount of people with spears will be at least equal ...
