Our team is aware of the performance issues affecting the Playstation4 Pro systems and they’re looking into it. For now, some users suggested that installing the game into a SSD hard drive (external or internal) seems to greatly reduce the effects.
We understand this is a frustrating situation and we appreciate your patience while we’re looking into it. Thanks.

PC Exiles, hello!

The day is here and we’re not only bringing you a substantial number of fixes and quality of life updates, we’ve also added new types of Purges, a new world boss and have done several balancing passes on NPCs and crafting costs. Balancing is an ongoing process and we’re very interested to hear your feedback about these changes. There are many more balancing changes coming to make the game more challenging but also more smooth going from a newborn exiles to a full grown Survivor. As a lvl 60 veteran, you now also have a way to add additional feat points!

For our role-playing community, and everyone else who likes to use in-game chat, we added a completely new VOIP System including mouth animation. There are also a few small goodies for those players who like to create their own stories and like to have a few more non combat or building things to do in game.

Does this issue still happen in the current Testlive build? If so, which weapon or tool are you using in particular and against which structure? Is it while playing online or offline?

I see countless of new weapon variations being introduced. Why? Nobody will use them, people will keep running with spears unless you somehow nerf them. What you currently do is waste of effort. Also people won't just start using dagger\maces\hammers, unless you change them somehow to be viable in combat. So if you nerf spears everyone will switch to axes instead. You need to adress ballance of all the weapons at once.

Let me answer you point by point:

That's fixed on Testlive, which you can either test right now by accessing the Testlive branch on Steam or check it out in our Testlive patchnotes that we linked above. We reworked the Purge mechanic by making it more reliable, challenging and rewarding. The feedback we got back from our community has been really positive and we feel it’s ready to be deployed live soon.

Hey u/kinghenry,

We're in no way trying to "f*ck with you". We thought we had everything ready to go, but ran into unexpected issues that needed to be fixed. We're working on getting the patch ready and we'll announce it once we're good to go.

Hey there,

This is a known issue, as we wrote in the patch-notes:

Currently Known Issues

First selecting “Female” at character creation and then slecting “Head Options”, “Face Details” or “Finalize Character” might move the camera past the player avatar, making it impossible to see your character
Selecting “Male” at character creation might render your avatar invisible when browsing the “Face”, “Hair” and “Facial Hair” options.
The new special health-bars have a lower vertical offset than intended.
VoIP from other players can sound distorted unless you set your Voice chat and/or master volume to 80% or less
After putting down a placeable, the item persists. Current workaround is to climb to remove this. It will be fixed

We have no plans of abandoning Conan Exiles. We have three major patches on our Testlive branch that add a ton of fixes and additions, as well as a revamp of the Unnamed City with plans to expand on that even further.

We also have a few exciting new additions planned, but as of now our near future scheduling is focused on fixing and improving the game. Here you can see our current schedule:

In game development, in any kind of large project, sometimes priorities change. You move some things around, you put other things on ice, and you re-prioritize. It’s perfectly normal and happens all the time. We realized that we had several critical issues that needed attention, so we pivoted towards focusing on that.
