Steam engines do not provide electric energy anymore, but mechanical, they won't count into your electric energy. And the energy provided by generators was changed this update as well. I'm not able to reproduce this problem. If this is a world from prior to Update 10, you may want to consider starting a new world on Update 10. I can't see an issue here.

It will turn off, if turning it on could not provide sufficient power for what you need. And yes, we're looking into the change for green electricity producers - they also stop their animations, which is not looking very nice.

Do you mean the highlighting for placables / active objects? That unfortunately cannot be turned off.

No, you did not - we had to pull that fix from the hotfix, as it had a critical problem last minute. We try to roll it out either on the weekend or next week. Really sorry.

Hey Citizens,
we have just deployed Hotfix 10.0.1 to address the following issues:

Civics:
  • Fixed: Bank accounts created since the last server restart would display a "Dual Permission" error and be unusable
  • Fixed: Homesteads were able to be placed outside of a settlement when joining that settlement before placing it down

Crashes:
  • Fixed: Changing the owner of a vehicle was causing a crash
  • Fixed: Opening the "Influence" page in the Ecopedia was caushing a crash
  • Fixed: Immigration policies could become invalid and cause a crash when a player tried to leave a settlement (or was made to)

General:
  • Improved: The claim tool will now auto-select the deed with the closest plot among those owned everytime it is selected. Once a manual selection is made, this behaviour stops for the rest of the...

Savegames before 9.7 cannot be loaded, savegames from 9.7 should load, but will have multiple issues due to the massive changes in the update. We recommend starting a new world.

Like many of our more "special" commands, this is a QA command. It's mostly used for automated and manual testing, those commands are done in a way as they are needed for CI / QA and tend to break in some ways at points, get changed to fit our needs or otherwise do things. We don't usually fix them or put increased care on them to follow logical style, they just need to work for whatever we need them to currently - dirty, basically. I'll make a suggestion to fix this one up, but I can neither tell you if that is going to be done nor when, and it may change afterwards again for the reasons I stated.

Please note the description of the setting - setting it to notably higher values can affect performance notably in a negative way.

You can find the drops if connection worked correctly in the void storage on every server you join, it's the strange loop icon in the bottom right corner, to the left of the map area. If your twitch still shows "Connect" that is an issue at their side, we were told it will resolve itself.

Steam linking on our side should also now be working correctly in all cases, for anyone that had problems with that before today.

This seems to be caused by playing on a world with invalid height, e.g. over 160. We're looking into if we can make a fix for this, but it likely will require a new world.

You are supposed to get claim papers on levelups when using no collaboration setting, we'll address this in the first hotfix.

We did keep them loadable as we had quite a bit of feedback by players in the past that would like to just visit older saves to take a look on what they built for "historic" reasons. I'm honestly not sure that was a good idea, but we're also humans with learning processes :)

We will address issues that are not caused by the migration (there is some related to settlements off), but none that are caused by the migration itself, given it's just not possible.
