Absolutely.

You should copy the /Storage and /Configs directory from your local server to the dedicated server and adapt configs as needed for usage on a dedicated server. The local server you can find at /Steam/steamapps/common/Eco/Eco_Data/Server.

Unfortunately that is not possible. I will bring it up, especially as we're currently working on giving more and extended visual hints for many things, as that is what has been a common request.

We do have an investigation on that running, but so far were not able to reproduce it on any of our testing worlds.

It would be appreciated though if you opened a new thread for issues, this one is over 2 years olds and information in that is likely no longer applicable, just as there might have been a bug introduced later making the behaviour different from what I stated over two years ago.

Eco has a lot of useful information in its tooltips, always worth to check those out.

Basically you will always need a full rectangle, e.g. diagonals need to be filled.

You need to copy the .db and .eco file from one of the backup folders to the main storage folder, then start the game again.

Ba1ab and rev's group on our discord would probably be your peeps, they've done several of them and share records, solo and in a group online respectively. It works great, so great it makes everyone else on the server leave. ;)

I was actually answering the OP directly, hence wasn't in any relation to your post at all. Sorry if that wasn't clear.

Singular angled roofs do not count as finishing a room, as the room feature also checks for diagonal air in determining if something is closed. You can work around that by making diagonal roofs two blocks thick or by just placing a flat roof below. While this does work as intended, we plan to revisit that later in development.

There is no official way to do that and public servers that would do it would be in violation of our ToS which can lead to potential consequences like delisting of the server on the server browser.

Please keep in mind that our server list prioritizes display of newer servers and that a majority of players expect from a day 0 server a fresh starting experience. Any manipulation of properties to gain advantages for the server ranking to the disadvantage of our players on the server browser are not acceptable.

For concept servers, there is the CivicImportExportMod available that allows to very quickly set up a starting government, which is fully fine, given we want to give that option in the future as a native game feature.

Just wanted to give you official information. It's not uncommon on here that people state things that would be our position, but actually isn't :)

Did you try to restart the game?

Blocks only spawn at original world generation, no blocks in Eco respawn.

This is a very typical issue of an antivirus software blocking writing of Eco and deleting files arbitrarily, just make an exception for Eco.

There is no NPCs in the game and there also won't be NPCs in the future. it's directly opposite to our goals of human interaction in the game as the main point of a society simulator, so it's not something we'd do.

Try restarting your game again if you haven't, sometimes the command doesn't alter the config files.

Probably won't work but it's worth a try.

In saying this, to change settings, it's best to do it in the config. But try this next:

You'll need to find your eco folder

Typical: C: program x86/steam/steamapps/common/eco

Mine personally: D: steam/steamapps/common/eco

Open the folder "storage", and you should see two files and a folder called "backups". The files are your world save, keep em safe, Game.db and Game.eco (might be your world name). I'd save these somewhere.

Then open your backups folder, find the most recent folder BEFORE you typed the code and copy the .db and .eco files into "storage". Replace the old files or just paste them if you already deleted them.

Now launch your game and it should be restore...

I think it changes the savegame itself, so it's not revertable without backup.
It's also a developer command, those shouldn't be used unless you know what you do.

Looks like someone used a dev command, you could check the admin command log. This stuff doesn't happen in normal Eco without user interaction, though. Never seen that.

Being propelled in the air is something that sometimes tends to happen, you can teleport people down with a command.
