First and foremost, we want to thank you for all the amazing feedback these last few months. With your help, we feel confident that Photon is an improvement across the board! Using our new technology, and following your feedback, we were able to add features like anomaly lists and multiple overviews, while improving and unifying the user interface.

As discussed on our Producer’s Letter livestream, starting February 14th, Photon will no longer be in Beta, and will fully take over replacing the previous UI. This will allow our teams put more of a focus on adding features to Photon which would otherwise not be possible with its predecessor, while still continuing implementing further improvements and fixes and incorporating your great feedback.

We’re excited to be taking this next step in the Photon journey with you!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts Ovyx.

I agree, those import/export options in the fitting management window should definitely be moved out of that menu back into the window.

You also make a good point about the difficulty of collapsing windows that have tabs in the header. You can actually click in-between the individual tabs as well, but that’s a rather small click target. I’m going to see if we can’t come up with something to help with this situation, maybe add an option to collapse the window from the window control menu.

I’d love to hear any other specific suggestions or feedback you may have.

Hello everyone,

There is a small chance of extended downtime on Saturday, 28 January while we conduct hardware upgrades on the EVE Online server. We expect to be able to complete this within the usual downtime window, but this process may take up to an additional 5 minutes, anticipating the work to be completed at no later than 11:20 UTC.

In addition, on Monday, 30 January there will also be an extended downtime whilst we make network adjustments. We anticipate that change will also take an additional 5 minutes, anticipating the work to be completed at no later than 11:20 UTC.

PLEASE NOTE that TQ will be brought back online as soon as the maintenance is completed which can be ahead of schedule of the previously mentioned downtime.

Any updates will be posted here and on the ...

The frontline pages are all under Frontlines - New Eden War Report | EVE Online . with each faction having its own sub-page ( i.e. Amarr | Frontlines | EVE Online for the Amarr ).

But looking at your screenshot it looks like you have some browser addons that are blocking things, are you sure they are not interfering with the page?

  1. That’s my preference, yes. As long as I get the green light from CCP that’s what I’m intending to do.

  2. This is a hard question to answer right now and I’m hoping I’ll have a better one in a few days. For the people I work with on a week to week basis, I’d say I’m relatively confident in their general knowledge of how the space operates, but I can only speculate on how well that translates to the rest of the company. My hope is for this to be a comprehensive guide for anyone who has not had extensive experience with J-Space and would like to learn more about it.

Greetings Capsuleers!

Over the last two years we’ve had to forgo in-person summits due to the pandemic, however this year they are officially back! CSM 17 will fly to Reykjavik, Iceland for a week of meetings from Monday, January 30th to Friday, February 3rd. We’ve finalized our topics, some of which we want to share with you. Further, after the summit a summary of everything that was chatted about will be made available.

Summit topics:

  • EVE Leadership - Goals for the summit, state of EVE, detailed look at the roadmap for the next expansions
  • CSM Program Evolution - Ideas and brainstorming for how to improve the CSM as an institution
  • Quality of life - Prioritizing and aligning on issues that the community identifies as “Little things”, along with other quality of life discussions.
  • Team Security - Chatting with the security team over the methods and tools they use, with a look at data from 2022. Also a look at u...

Hey! Sorry for the delay. Just wanted to chime in and say tickets are never ignored, though some may take a bit longer to get feedback based on complexity. I wouldn’t classify what you’ve written in this thread as overly complex, so hopefully you’ll get a response relatively soon.

Hey everyone!

Just to let you know that I’ve updated my original post with a few extra details but we have adjusted this back from 7 days to 1, which was what it originally was, this afternoon. This may again be increased in the future if the requests are found to impair the server.

A recommendation from the team also suggests using as many of the auth’d endpoints as possible for future development, as those are easier to maintain uptime for. For this case, the affiliation endpoint may prove to be more beneficial in the long run!

As before, I’ll keep this post updated should any further changes be made.

If you haven’t tried them yet, Abyssal Deadspace fits pretty closely to what you’re after. Each site is ~20 minutes with varying difficulty, and you can do it either as a single Cruiser/HAC or 3 Frigates/Destroyers co-op.

Pochven also has some more challenging PvE(vP) content, as well as some escalations in low/null sec (though those are a bit less reliable)

Let us know what you end up with!

Hey Arrendis,
Sorry for the late reply - I’ll take a look at this and see what we can do, maybe we can have another random graph of the month in the January MER

Hey all! We’d like to thank you for the great conversations over the last several months. Together we have restructured much of our policy as it pertains to harassment and punishments, and enabled our teams act in such a way as to keep the community more safe.

If you have suggestions, don’t hesitate to reach out to the Community team. Similarly, if you have witnessed - or been the victim of - harassment, you may file a report at by sending an e-mail message to: [email protected]

Hey everyone!

I was advised today that there was a change made on Friday to:

GET esi-characters/characters/{character_id}/ route, AKA the get character information route. The change was that the cache time has been updated from 1 day to 7 days in response to an increase in the number of projects scraping it.

Apologies the messaging for this one wasn’t made sooner, I’m endeavoring to try and get as much messaging about ESI changes as quickly as we’re made aware of them.

e: Via @CCP_Swift

I will add a bit more context as to some of the ESI failures, as it’s, unfortunately, more widespread than this endpoint. he Market data endpoint has been down, and now two relating to character corporation history (though afaik not alliance history), are down or impaired.

The TL;DR for why these endpoints were taken offline is that there is a third-party developer, or a series of third-party devs, usi...
