A new monthly deployment (Version 19.09) goes live today. Normally, the change of the version occurs on the second Tuesday of every month but we pushed it by one day this time around due to the Native mac client release.
As always, please use our feedback threads to talk about any changes that will be going live to Tranquility for the next month and keep an eye on the Known Issues to see what our teams already have on their radar in terms of bugs.
The EVE Academy serves as foundational knowledge for EVE Online mechanics and careers, while also pointing toward community resources to learn more in depth about topics.
The CRAB has seen several changes on the test server based on feedback; from increased payouts, added restrictions for placement, with some AI changes vs fighters with more changes to come
I can neither confirm nor deny this at this particular point in time.
I have already said more than I should
I have verified that things are happening. More I am not at the liberty to reveal
Went and grabbed this one, thanks o7

The patch was deployed ahead of schedule, and Tranquility is once again accepting connections.
There will be an extended downtime on Wednesday 13 October in preparation for patch deployment. Downtime is expected to last until 11:30 UTC, however we will be back up sooner if work is completed early.
Updates can be found in this thread, as well as the official EVE Status Twitter account.
Thank you for your understanding o7
The issues seem to have been fixed. Tranquility is back online accepting connections! We are going to monitor the situation, so please do let us know if you run into any more issues.
Reboots normally take up to a few minutes. Tranquility is actually already up, but we need to verify if all the problems have been resolved before lifting the VIP status and letting everyone back in.
To be clear, the root cause is not with chat. It did not, however, recover from another outage. There were other systems that did not properly recover as well but the most noticeable symptoms to players are issues with chat and to resolve them a reboot is needed.
Good day,
We have identified several issues with the in-game chat and other internal services on Tranquility earlier today. To resolve them we will need to restart Tranquility which will take place in 15 minutes at 16:20 UTC.
Please get to a safe spot and dock up at your earliest convenience!

The release of EVE Online’s native mac client is coming soon – and while we’re excited to bring this new and improved EVE experience to macOS, we’d also like to pre-emptively notify you that the Personal Skill Plans functionality of the new skill interface will not be accessible in the native client upon its release, due to external factors beyond our control – meaning that players will not initially be able to either create or save personal skill plans, nor save a shared plan.
This will not affect access to the skill catalogue or certified plans, however. Additionally, any personal skill plans you have already saved will remain in the database, and will in fact be accessible if logging in on a PC during this waiting period.
We plan to bring you this functionality as soon as possible in a later release. Please bear with us as we ensure that your experience will be as well-polished as possible: the native mac client includes significant impr...
