You need to purchase additional content on the same platform you purchased the game on, so if you own the game on Ubisoft Connect, you can't buy the content on Steam as it won't be compatible.

@Hoolsyy Do you also have the game through Ubisoft Connect?

I'm sorry to hear that you cannot start the game. The error you are describing appears when you are trying to launch the game from Steam, while being logged into wrong Ubisoft Connect account. Please make sure you open Ubisoft Connect and log into the account that was used to activate the game when launching it for the first time. Then the game should launch correctly from Steam 😊

Your progress is tied to your Ubisoft account, so please make sure to log in to the same Ubi account every time you play! This way, even after your PC Game Pass expires, you will be able to continue your adventure by buying the game and launching it directly from Ubisoft Connect on your PC. As long as it's the same Ubisoft account! 😊

Glad to see you've managed to narrow it down to your controller. Have you made sure that all your device drivers, as well as your operating system is up to date? It might be worth checking for any optional Windows updates and installing them to ensure you have the newest drivers for your controllers. I'd also suggest trying an Xbox controller, if you have one!

Thanks for the screenshot! @ibalgin_ So I've checked this and it looks as though you do not have the Steam version of the game on this Ubisoft account, which is why the tile does not show in the launcher. You can see how you have two copies of the Division though, one is from Steam and one is from Ubisoft - this is how your For Honor games should appear in your Connect launcher also.

In order to help you locate the Steam Starter edition of the game, we will need your Steam ID and proof of purchase.

So DLC is usually not cross-compatible across different launchers which is why you may be seeing this error message also.

As you have 2x copies of the game on the same Ubisoft account, you should have 2x game tiles for For Honor in the Ubisoft Connect launcher - one purchased from Connect, one from Steam.

Can you check if you have 2x game tiles for For Honor, in your games library, in the Connect launcher or do you have a screenshot of this?
