Hey Freelance-_-,

We're sorry to hear you're experiencing these issues.

In regards to the VoIP issues, can you please try the following solutions:

Leaving the server and getting back into another one should help with the VoIP issues.
  1. Open your Windows Device Manager by opening the Windows Task Bar, type Device Manager in the search field, and press enter
  2. Expand the "Sound, video and game controllers" dropdown menu
  3. Right-click all devices and select "Update driver"
Additionally, delete the following folder: C:\Users\\AppData\Local\HLLL and allowing the program to regenerate the files might bring back VOIP.

Note: after this, you do have to redo your Settings and Keybinds.

If the game can't detect a microphone:

Please make sure that your microphone is set as the default communication device in your Windows settings.
  1. Select the Start button, type Sound in the search...

Hey Doozle,

We're sorry to hear you're having this issue.

Can you please clear your game cache in localappdata folder:
  1. Click on the windows logo, type %localappdata%, and Enter
  2. Open HLL folder and go to Saved > Config > WindowsNoEditor
  3. Delete GameUserSettings.ini file (if this does not work, delete the entire HLL folder)
  4. Launch game.
Please note this will reset all of your in-game settings but hopefully will then allow you to change the settings properly again.

Get back to us when you can!

Hey LittleB,

Sorry to see you're experiencing some performance issues while playing Hell Let Loose.

I can see from your DxDiag that you have Nahimic installed on your system - this has been known to interfere with multiple titles and could be causing some of the Audio crash issues appearing on your DxDiag also.

We would recommend uninstalling this software before retesting the game. To do this:
  1. Search Device Manager in your Windows search bar
  2. Expand the section titled Sound, video and game controllers and locate Nahimic
  3. Right-click the device and select Uninstall Device
Please also uninstall any related Nahimic Devices in Software devices.

If the issue persists following this, and to reveal any possible issues with your Windows system, we would like to recommend that you please attempt the following actions:
  1. Open the Windows Start Menu
  2. Type “cmd”...

Hello everyone,

Welcome to our Mortain-focused dev brief, highlighting various changes and implementations thanks to your feedback.

Mortain is a new map for Warfare, Offensive and Skirmish gamemodes. This map is based on the US defence of the French town of Mortain, which sits in a shallow valley – where the US rallied against German troops amid Operation Lüttich. The battle took place in August 1944, in Normandy, France.

In this dev brief, one of our Senior Environment Artists will cover enterable buildings, provide additional context on Collégiale Saint Evroult and La Petite Chapelle Saint-Michel, discuss the environment; foliage and more. We want to be as transparent as possible when it comes to our development process on new maps – and we hope this provides useful insight into what it entails.

Mortain is due for release after part 2 of the British Rework.

Your feedback
I would first like to say a...

Hey CLix,

We are sorry to hear that you have encountered experience issues whilst playing Hell Let Loose.

We've received multiple reports about this problem and our dedicated team is actively investigating and diligently working on a resolution with Valve. Please be aware that, at this stage, we cannot confirm if any future fix will be retroactive.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused during this period. We understand how frustrating it can be to not receive the experience points you've earned through your efforts. Rest assured, we are committed to resolving this issue as swiftly as possible.

Some players recently reported that unhiding their game on Steam resolved the issue, to do this please open Steam and go to Hell Let Loose in your Steam library. On the main page where it says 'Play', on the right side there is a settings cog button, please press this and go to Manage - unhide this game.

If you are opted into the S... Read more

Hi Kinetic Bullet,

Thanks for getting back to us.

We have indeed looked at the screenshots, unfortunately it's not possible to see if there was anything underneath, or the other side etc, which is why we wanted to confirm.

We have now passed this over to the team to investigate further.
We're unable to give any timeframe on how long this may take to resolve, however, we hope for a fix as soon as possible.

Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause in the meantime.

Thank you for your patience in this matter.
