Thank you for your feedback on the Protocol. I haven't seen a whole lot of discussion around it yet. Most frustrating topics seem to be about the grenade launchers. Do you think making it a projectile instead of hitscan may improve the experience?

I think I can see how you could feel that way. I think it depends on where you are trying to drop in the map.

Hey Skeem! There is currently no open process for applying for drops at this time. Our original intent with the Twitch Drop Pod drop was to allow anyone to have it enabled on their channel, but we had some issues on the backend with it. For now, these drops will be Founders only. As for the Founders process, that does not have a publc facing process either. Keep up your content creating and doing what you enjoy for a chance in the future

Could you explain how you would want to nerf the Protocol V? Most people seem to dislike the fact that it is a projectile based weapon.

the twitch integration of receiving an item bugs the matchmaking when immediately looking for a match without going back to Hub area
The reason for the second though is that I noticed every time I canceled matchmaking due to extremely long matchmaking there would be a new battlepass item unlocked. This could have nothing to do with Twitch integration and is just caused by the battlepass item unlocking.

Hey BotJL! Please make sure you are sending reports to the player support team so we can look into these players as well. It is important to understand that anti-cheat does not necessarily mean the ban process is instant. There are other aspects that have to be done, like detecting it in the first place, patching up things these cheats are exploiting, and applying bans to all accounts who were using a specific hack.
It's also important to remember there is an issue currently where the adhesion with controllers is extra snappy and may look kind of suspicious. We are working to address this as well!

We are performing server maintenance at 3:30 PM ET / 19:30 UTC with 15 minutes expected downtime to resolve issues of players not connecting to their nearest datacenter. Players who have experienced high ping in game should see a marked improvement after this fix. Note that because we are now prioritizing optimal network latency, you may experience matches with less than 99 players depending on time of day.

the delay before it lets you fire the Mammoth after pump-action should be before the pump-action or no delay at all... to give better representation of when you can fire the weapon again

Thanks for your feedback! I know a lot of players have been hoping for the option to remap other options to scrollwheel, and I assume the same would like it so they can remap weapon swapping.

Thanks for your input! I can tell you are really enjoying the game and want nothing but the best for it. I am not 100% sure if it is intended on purpose, but I can look into it!

What kind of things are you hoping for in the Battle Pass?

Thank you so much for your controller feedback! We have been looking more into controllers in general for various reasons, and I have seen a few others request the option for free button mapping. We mentioned a bit ago that we are working on controller remapping, but it has some slight blockers at the moment.

Moreover, about the game balancing, I think the Protocol V is too powerful as a hit scan weapon. The damage is totally fine, but I think it’s better to set the bullet it shot to projectile. When this gun fused to maximum level, it’s too easy to get “free kills” because of the hit scan bullet

Moving it to a projectile weapon seems to be the popular balancing suggestion from players. I've been keeping an eye on the increase in discussion.

There is Anti-Cheat with Hyper Scape. We use BattlEye for Anti-Cheat and we have been absolutely using it to ban players in the game. An in-game report sysyem will be coming soon. For now, you can flag players in the Player Support portal. As for a spectating mode/replay cam system, I have passed along the idea stressing the fact that it would help with determining if someone needs to be reported. It really sucks you are seemingly running into these kinds of people, and the team would like to resolve that as soon as we can.

There is the latency and connection icons that pop up to let you know you are experiencing some connection issues, but I agree that a permanent ping counter would be helpful.
