;) there’s a “bug” that renames them to something else that is as rare as beer is to potion too!

Thanks for wanting to support, u/Critizin. Admittedly, we haven't put too much emphasis on the MTX store yet as we're still a smaller team for the genre and we had plenty we wanted those artists to work on for the 1.0 launch for base models in the game. We haven't even implemented all the major MTX-slot types yet, like skill skins, footsteps, titles, etc.

We'll be producing more for the shop but we don't have a dedicated MTX team in place just yet. If there's anything that you guys would like to see cosmetics-wise let me know!

Yes! First priority is bug squashing and then I plan to get a developer that sits on accessibility features. If you have an accessibility request please let us know.

This is our priority. The next large bug-fix patch we’re hoping/aiming to release within 36 hours that addresses many things, including the transform/invisibility issue mentioned in this thread.

We’ll continue releasing weekly updates and hotfixes. Thanks for using the in-game bug reporter, everyone! It’s very helpful.

Hmm, let me chat with the team. First course of action is typically to reduce the impact of the ones that are over the top, so if you guys see specific ones that are causing more visual strain than others definitely let us know.

A legitimate slider or something to just reduce the transparency… may be possible. I can’t promise anything besides I’ll have a conversation with the team that works on these and see what may be possible though, for now.

We have unfortunately had to disable family sharing on Steam for Last Epoch.

This feature enabled the use of significant RMT (Real Money Trading) and Botting options, and was removing our ability to ban/remove accounts, faster than they could share them with their entire networks. This resulted in a significant amount of spam, RMT abuse, Gold Selling, and Botting, all within less than two weeks.

Disabling Family Sharing was necessary to combat these RMT services abusing this feature hurting the in-game experience for all players. We continue to prioritize player experience, from quality of life features in game design, to incorporating feedback, to social interactions within Last Epoch. With that, we want to ensure you that we will continue to explore options for how we might be able to support this feature, as well as ban these offending accounts to help keep Last Epoch a welcoming community for everyone.

Don’t overly balance classes and builds though. I don’t want to see a WOW like scape where every class is essentially the same thing. Some classes are just going to be niche due to its mechanics and that’s okay. Guild Wars 2 does this very well and that’s why I still love that game despite the graphics being really old.

Homogenization of WoW classes in later expansions hurt the game significantly IMO. BC and Wrath were fantastic. I’m also one of those that are of the opinion that flying mounts were a huge mistake in the game.

We'll continue to add/alter/improve all classes in the game based on what we're seeing and community feedback. Don't feel that if, say Forge Guard, doesn't have enough powerful opotions and interesting mechanics that it will sit like that for years.

Many classes were made when we were a very small team, like 20 of us, and there's plenty that we will go back and update still. 1.0 is just kickoff for the game, and updating content and classes is a big part of what we'll continue to do.

We have active plans to make getting to empowered Monos for alt characters significantly faster. We hear you and we agree.

Everything else is fine!

Yea we want to bring in ways to scale certain elements like this. Thanks for your feedback!

We’d like to. If we do then we want to do then right and not just have it be things like “1,000,000,000 damage to skeletons. It’s not our highest priority at the moment though.

What would you guys want to see from achievements in LE?

Their base stats are pretty good tho so I still use my shitty ones

Yea, it doesn't always work out and it's so hard to predict which affixes are going to be wanted.

Thanks for taking the time to give your feedback. A whole lot of this are things we have plans to action on and is tracked or have verbally agreed we feel the same way on internally.

You can hide the quests on the right side of the screen with the little expand and contract button by the way!

I feel that's probably the correct response. You've got bigger fish to fry in the now than adding alt QoL to Monoliths, and it's something that you can't take away after adding, without receiving a ton of backlash. I noticed Karv is part of your dev team, so he (among others, presumably) know how Harvest crafting played out in PoE, and how angry the community got after GGG clawed back a lot of its power.

WoW is also a good example of what happens when hastily added QoL features that conflict with the core game's design philosophy can erode the game's core principles. One of the original lead designers of that game said, "There's a contract between the game and the player, where the only way to attain power is through time and skill. Anything that allows you to attain power outside of this, such as paid character boosts, br...

Yea, we all play tons of different games, PoE is a big one around the "office" for sure. It's so hard to balance how fast we add stuff for exactly the reasons you said. We see what can happen in these bigger games and a major misstep could be more problematic for us. But there is no sense in developing in fear so we do take some leaps.

I appreciate how your team is able and willing to experiment with traditional ARPG trends and mechanics. I'd imagine being a new title and dev team gives you more freedom, since you're not making a D4, where players are either from D3 and expect GRift-like mechanics, or from D2, who expect actual itemization beyond "Damage on Tuesdays," or "green arrow = good."

LP, WW, and Item Factions have, so far, been extremely successful innovations, which I love to see. CoF in particular is amazing, because it's very empowering to SSF players, or people who aren't a fan of trading (me), but still allows for an AH to exist. I've quit a PoE league earlier than I wanted to before, simply due to not wanting to be assed with trading in that game, and am lacking in the skills to play with the SSF handicap. As powerful as CoF is, I'd imagine MG has a higher ceiling--and that's okay. CoF is powerful enough that I don't feel like I'm shooting myself in the foot by eschewing from the game's eco...

Thanks :)

The monolith fast track is something we debate internally very intensely and frequently. There is some movement on that front but it's going to be a little different than just straight unlocked account wide.

I love that the WW item worked out like this for you. We often get suggestions to allow WW on any unique item. These uniques were very carefully designed so that you would get good items with it more often than not by making sure they have less specific stats and are on base types with a high concentration of relevant stats. They don't always work out but we worked hard to make they be good more often than not.

Anyways, nice item :)
