I think the accusations of malicious intent with the system is what might be rubbing people the wrong way. This style of system is one of my favorite things to do in ARPGs.
We’ve been playing multiplayer internally without the ability to trade at all for a while now and we are keenly aware of this feeling. It’s a bit of a joke now where someone calls out that they need to find something and someone will always pipe up that they have one if you can implement trade real quick.
I don’t really have much to offer in response to the suggestion - it seems reasonable to me. I just wanted to +1 for good doggos.
Your bug report was too good and the system auto deleted it. Sorry about that. Thank you for the very detailed report.
The Creator Level supporter pack is still listed in some places, so searching for information regarding acquiring it can lead users to this thread. This is the official post concerning its still current status.
To pre-empt the question: We currently do not have any ETA as to when we might re-open Creator supporter packs, though it’s likely it would not be until some point after 1.0.
Please keep conversations on topic and respectful. If you don’t want to talk to each other, stop talking to each other. Needing to get the last word is just dragging out the process of ending the argument. So I’m happy to take away that burden of you’d like this to be that last word.
You’re welcome to keep the actual topic rolling though.
Hi there,
I’m really sorry, however, it isn’t possible for us to retrieve save data stored locally if it is lost or becomes corrupted. The game does utilize Steam’s Cloud Save function. While we can make no promises, you may wish to try retrieving the saved files there.
Such problems won’t occur for server-side multiplayer characters, which will be implemented in Patch 0.9.
I know how much this may discourage you from playing the game, and I truly am very sorry that it has happened to you.
Kind regards,
Got your back
First off, I’m not saying this won’t ever exist in some form. I do want to say there is some problems I could foresee with introducing this however as presented.
If it were possible to infinitely craft one piece of gear, as soon as you have a single drop you start crafting, you start ignoring any other drop for that slot since you would just keep crafting the already finely tuned item. This means there would be no more loot hunt aside from “rune of potential” drops. While certain drops can stop mattering over time (such as common items) I don’t think we’d want to see this with every piece of gear. Gear drops should continue to matter pretty much “forever”.
This change to FP would also create a burden of optimal play. This is one of the things we have to consider when we introduce mechanics that can be far more powerful when used by experienced players than new players.
For instance Dungeons having the ability to skip parts of the campaign - if it was possible to...

Changing a characters name is not currently supported, though it’s also something only you see. For in game chat, and with multiplayer parties: your account name, not character name is used. It’s possible that a feature to change character name could be introduced at some point with enough demand for the feature, though because the character name isn’t used anywhere we don’t currently feel it’s as high priority as if the character name was used to represent a player or was shown to other players.
