SP values have been changed, you get 10 for a win and 6 for a loss. Those other rules for autofilling etc. are removed. So it'll be closer to about 200 games for Silver & below. Also remember that you still get chromas per rank, someone in silver will only have up to the Silver chroma while if you hit Plat you'll be able to flex that in game, no other way to earn those than improve

Did running with SMT/Hyperthreading off help: noCan't recall experiencing a continuation of the issue when I completely shut down PC and started up, however still had issues when I restarted.
Also per the last game and another that i've played, it didn't allow me to reconnect to the match and brought me back to the lobby as if no game was in progress (I doubt the game was over at that point in time as attempted to log in from another device immediately). This is inconsistent though as I have been able to reconnect to matches when the FPS issue occurs and I need to shut down and restart my computer.
With regards to the FPS issue this tanked to literally 1-10fps from max screen supported frame rate...
Yeah, that looks really bad. I'm chasing it up internally. I'll let you know what I find.

Hey Lexical - just as a general question, would you say Skarner is further along than this video implies? I know that this was recorded around October (according to Phlox), but it is admittedly a little sad to not have any confirmation that Skarner has solidified design/direction by now.
It was filmed a bit back. So Skarner did have a bit more progress since then. However, when it comes to R&D just because we have picked a direction, it doesn't always mean its closer to the finish line. As we discover more, some times it means scrapping everything and going back to the finishing line. . Not saying that's the case with Skarner, its just that champion work sometimes is not a direct path but bunch of winding turns till we hit the final place.
We explored a couple of design directions and opportunities in order to find one that feels right for Skarner. Generally speaking, VGUs have alot more risks to hash out compared to a new champ, its not an easy problem that can be gated by time.
What are your thoughts on the rising sentiment that PC League has been put into Auto-Pilot Mode?
I mean I can understand why people would draw that conclusion, though I can assure you that we are not. Me saying it isn't going to convince anyone of that though. Like many companies we lost a lot of talent during Covid, where many people took the WFH situation as a opportunity to look for different paths in life. It was rough all around the industry and Riot was no different. It wasn't because Riot intentionally cut budget or scope for LoL. To put it more eloquently, sh*t happens.
Also we have been investing into so bigger things that won't ship for quite some time. But words won't change how people feel, and certainly this random reddit response won't either. The only thing that will change peoples opinion is when we ship content.

Well the video covered a bunch of teams, and I'm just the Lead Producer of Gameplay. So I'm not involved in and of the skin/asu stuff PIE is working on. I am very involved in everything Gameplay is working on though. Some of the newer stuff I'm excited about and got rolling once I took this position isn't really ready to talk about yet though, but I'm excited to start talking about it in the future.

Biggest positive is the emphasis and acknowledgment of the possibility of not buying a Mythic first or even at all really.
Re positional agency. I hope the goal isnt to homogenise power across the game. Would definitely make the game boring and less strategic. Class, champion, and role fantasy are awesome RPG elements to have in League. Different counter-play breakpoints within the early, mid, and late game flow of the game is important to emphasise these identities.
Any thoughts on Ability Haste creep? On Bruiser/Skirmishers being tankier than tanks?

We think a lot of that is from Jak'Sho, but our intent is to reduce poaching by some amount from fighter class (it's intended to be bought sometimes, but not always)
Season start was filmed last year, so a few things have changed since then.
Top&JG excitement and select look good, esp for average play.
This resulted in some sadness for bot; the roles are still being balanced. 13.1 hits some of the anti-bot outliers (mundo, ramm, jak'sho) and we've started work on some satisfaction passes for ADC.
We're continuing to look at healing outliers post ravenous and tank changes. We have some small scope changes to GW in a few patches or so and are testing well (small component gives 40% is the main one)
Notes from the vid; we don't consider legendary rush an abuse case (BORK/Demonic/Sunfire) and we'll continue supporting non-mythic rush
AP item and mage satisfaction is on our radar, we've buffed a few outliers in 13.1 (Horizon, Seraphs), but other items/champs need more work
Can yoi confirm tho if you can select different audio and text language. Or will it be an overall selection where it changes both regardless.
