In the year 2016 we should have the choice to mute all enemy team chat it is from my experience in this game a way for the other team to be racist and just disrupt the gameplay period please fix this freedom of speech does not exist in video games thx. The first amendment was put in place for law abideing grown ups not children that like to have a racist slur every two seconds.

Hello there,

First of all, allow me to apologise for the fact that you have come across this behaviour in game. We do not condone nor tolerate abuse, nor the abuse of our systems. We're working hard to address issues of this nature, with a statement on our approach to DDoS / DoS attacks being here.

However, it is against our rules here on the forums to publicly report players, or effectively incite "witchhunting". As such, I have removed the usernames you mentioned from your post.

Please report this player to us in the proper manner by using the in-game reporting tools, and / or by opening a support case on our website with the details inside. Thank you.

Hello Vskis,

We do not allow naming and shaming on our forums. If you wish to report a player for their behaviour, please do so using the in-game reporting functions or through a support case on our website.

Rest assured that we are committed to tackling behaviour that breaches our code of conduct, and if a player is found to be in breach of it, appropriate sanctions will be applied to their account. Thank you.

Hi HeatheN.Tv,

We're sorry to hear that's been occurring.

Due to the Name & Shame rules on the forums, we did need to remove the name from your post.

As it has been reported, the support team will look into that and take appropriate action.

Hello Derpest.Sam, welcome to the forums!

Thank you for your report. Our team can investigate reports of players who are cheating or not using appropriate behavior online in our games. However, to look into these we need to receive a support ticket reporting the player along with some proof of the incident. If you can provide this, please open a support ticket at support.ubi.com and attach a video or screenshot of the proof, the player's name, and the time of occurrence. The team can investigate from there. Thank you!

Also, just to let you know, I edited your post, as naming and shaming is against forums rules. Thank you for understanding and if you have any additional questions, please let us know.

Hi BIONN_SirHot, and welcome to the forums.

MMR rollback occurs when players you've encountered in Ranked matches are identified as cheaters—in this case, they were DDoS-ing. Your MMR gets readjusted accordingly to cancel out the cheaters' effect on the affected games.
Regretfully we are unable to manually add the points/stats back on to your account.

For more info, check out our Dev Blog at: http://rainbow6.com/mmrrollback

Whereas you can't name and shame on the forums, if you have evidence of hacking, you should check out the online system for reporting a player here. There's also a means of getting a notification whenever action is taken against an account you've reported to provide clarity around your reporting.

Thanks for getting back in contact and taking your time to submit these player reports.

While I would not be able to go into to much details, I can confirm we have an ever expending list of bannable words across multiple languages and "internet speak" which is reviewed and updated on a regular basis.

In the meantime, I will certainly be sure to forward your feedback for further review, so if you would like to provide any further update or suggestions, please feel free to let us know.

Hey there, Sparteljaap. I'm incredibly sorry to hear that you encountered this player behavior in Rainbow Six Siege. I greatly appreciate you capturing this video evidence and including it in your post. Your report has been passed along to the relevant teams. Thank you for wanting to help improve the in-game community!
over 4 years ago - UbiKoality - Direct link
In these situations, the only people notified of sanctions applied to accounts are the account owners themselves -- meaning that you would not be notified. MMR rollback may take place when/if this player is sanctioned, but I am not able to speculate on that! I completely understand your exhaustion with these players, though.

Thanks for getting in contact and providing this feedback, I will certainly be sure to forward this for further review, but please rest assured our game team is always looking at ways to improve the matchmaking experiences.

Hey Kimpo619. I'm incredibly sorry to hear that this happened and that you encountered this player in Rainbow Six Siege. Support is not able to adjust rank or restore any lost ranked points, unfortunately. However, I would be more than happy to report the player responsible for this! Do you have any video evidence of the lag you experienced during the match?

Hey there!

I've removed the link as we don't condone naming and shaming on the Forums, I'd advise contacting us directly through our Support Site or Facebook and Twitter for any reports if you're unable to report them in game.

That said I've forwarded your report onto the team for them to investigate.

Hello everyone.

Further to what Ubi-TheBerry and UBI-Froggard have said -

We will always encourage players to also use the 'Report A Player' function through the game as it gives us all the information, date and time we need.

You can also report a player for cheating / hacking / harassment / toxicity / chat abuse through our following support channels too -

Twitter Support - https://twitter.com/UbisoftSupport
Facebook Support - https://www.facebook.com/UbisoftSupportUK/
Ubisoft Support website - https://support.ubisoft.com/en-gb/Cases/new

If you do want to help report a player to us, remember to give us the following information through DM / case -

- Game you were playing and what platform?
- What happened in the game? Cheating / Hacking / Lobby freezing / Toxicity / Chat Abuse / Voice Chat abuse
- Exact time and date of when this happened
- Players name / Leaderboard screenshot
- Any video clips of the match showing evidence
- Any messages you may have received from this player

Once you can provide us with all of this information we will be happy to pass this onto our Siege security team to help find and ban these players, thank you.
